Used today for the first time. Worked perfectly. Have borrowed a Dewalt. This impact gun performed as well as a Dewalt. Set on 2 took my luggage nuts off quickly. Tightening on 2 set my luggage nuts at about 85lbs. ( I checked with my torque wrench) Only time will tell about reliability/ longevity. Seems to be an excellent value.

Works great. Successfully removed 8 year old magnesium anode rod installed on a Rheem 40 gallon electric water heater that would not budge using a two ft breaker bar on a half inch ratchet wrench being struck by a hammer after being saturated by penetrating lube for two days. A week later, it allowed me to remove an oil filter housing that has apparently been over torqued by the local Toyota shop, who used an air impact wrench to seat an 18ft.lb. maximum filter cap. It's paid for itself and it's nice to know it's in my toolbox should anything else require the incredible power of an impact wrench to do what even the burlyest man cannot hope to accomplish alone.

This thing is awesome. Haven’t found a bolt it can’t take off. Fits my 20v dewalt battery perfectly. Can’t better it for the price. Very strong. The only con is. It’s heavy but most impact wrenches are.

I rarely ever write reviews but in this case I feel compelled to let others know that this is a great quality and high performing tool. I was skeptical that something at this price point can rival a $200+ name brand tool. I am pleasantly surprised. As one reviewer indicated, it will loosen the bolt but you can't keep the trigger pressed to remove it all the way. You have to keep pressing the trigger for 2 second bursts to continue rotation. No big deal as the main reason to own this is to loosen the super tight bolts for removal. Overall excellent tool with a very high quality finish and feel to it. Well balanced as well. Main reason I bought this is because of its compatibility with existing Dewalt batteries and it delivers on that front. I have no idea how it will stand up after 5-10 yrs of use but it looks just as well built as any other name brand tool. I would only be using this occasionally maybe couple of times a month on average so it should be fine. I just used it to loosen a couple of lawn mower blades and a spindle. The spindle nuts were so jammed it sheared all of them off which was fine for me since I'm replacing the unit with a new one anyways.

Purchased on Prime to work on my neglected rusty old truck and van. Pros: Figured if it was malfunctioning I'd be able to return it. Decided to go with extra torque features, and I have M18 5 amp batteries made by Milwaukee. Got the tool and found out most of my bolts on my van were metric !!! Purchased an excellent set of metric sockets , and woosie old guy successfully removed the gas tank straps, wheel lug nuts and rusty old mushy shocks without incident. I was actually impressed. LOL! The price of this tool and sockets is less than local mechanic's hourly prices. Cons: Reviewed the knockoff batteries and there was a red flag for me, and a genuine Milwaukee battery costs considerably more . I have the Fuel tools which have served me , This is a bare bones tool! Can buy a Hercules version with charger and battery for similar price. Probably same company? Also Harbor Freight warrantee and return policies. Makes that a better deal. Durability is the next question? It is well made and I've experienced no problems but time will tell? So far so good and there's only 30 days to return with Prime!
