Bought this impact to work with my existing Dewalt batteries to replace some rear coil springs. I have an air compressor and air impacts, but the noise they put off always has me using hand tools instead. Thought I'd give electric impacts a try, and I'm glad I did. As far as durability, I don't know if I will ever find out. I know it's not the same heavy duty quality that I would expect for the bigger brands price tag, and I am totally fine with that as I know I won't be using it often, occasional tire rotations and repairs, and it has more than enough power and torque for basic automotive needs. Did what I needed it to do, and didn't break the bank either. The only issue I encountered is the rubber protective boot slips off, if I was going to use it daily I'd probably try to use some sort of adhesive to hold it in place, but I'm not worried about it.

I was skeptical with the price but trusted the reviews and took a chance. And I’m glad I did. I recently purchased an R33 Skyline and have started doing some work on it. Between removing wheels, changing coilovers, and deleting the HICAS, I really love this tool. It’s big enough that it feels solid without being overly large. I have an entire suite of Dewalt batteries but this thing lasts a good while on one. The first time I removed the wheels, they were definitely put on with an impact but this handled it with no problem. I bought a value set of bits as well and they fit perfectly. I love the weight of the impact, it’s very comfortable and easy to use. I’m so glad that I added this to my garage and glad I didn’t pay 2-3 times more on a brand name.

Great works well with the Dewalt batteries. The batteries attach easily. Some reviews said they had difficulty attaching batteries which is understood. However, the batteries attached fine for me.🤔😁

Unlike most DIYers, I seldom use impact tools when taking anything apart. Snap off a few bolts and you'll understand. Because of that, I don't need the best newest tool with the greatest breaking strength. A cheaper tool will be more than adequate. I like the DeWalt battery part since I own quite a few of them. I'm not here to collect batteries from every MFG just to watch them collect dust between jobs. It works great for the tasks I do, lots of mower and lawn tractor repairs.

I was not expecting much for the price but this tool has taken a beating. Yes there are time that I have to break the nut loose first but for the price it really works pretty darn good.

First, the bad news: The fitment of the battery connector is really bad. Like, you might have to use a rubber mallet bad. I exclusively have OEM batteries and none of them will slide on or off without excessive force. I'm not sure why this is such a struggle for knockoffs in general, but it's really bad here. I also have no way to test the torque rating, but let's just say I'm deeply skeptical. A final niggle is that the tool body is made out of really cheap plastic. It does not appear to be glass nylon reinforced like an OEM tool, and it was getting chewed up a bit just laying around my work bench. That said, the good: I have pretty modest expectations and use cases for this power wise, I mostly want it to zip off the odd bolt and lug nut. It does do that! Not sure what it's top torque rating is, but for around the house DIY work it seems like a champ! I haven't found a bolt yet it won't tear off without even trying. The ergonomics are also not bad! The handle has a pretty decent rubber overmolding that doesn't immediately come off as cheap as the price. The LED light is decently bright and useful. The hog ring works well enough for the sockets I have on hand. The various electronic speed control options all work. It's not excessively noisy. I appreciate that it's a handsome black and gray, and doesn't try to poorly ape DeWalt colors. Overall, if you're a casual DIYer with occasional needs, I'd definitely consider this. The price is right for what you get, and it seems fit for purpose. I wouldn't get this for professional use, but pros know that.
