3/4" drive Makita battery tool. This is a brute force tool for removing stuck nuts or bolts. BEWARE - I thought my wrench was broken when it continued to stop in the reverse mode. There is a setting where the wrench will run in reverse for only one second, or continuously. This is apparently to keep nuts from flying off during removal. I bought this tool primarily for removing "stuck" stuff, and it has worked great. If it can't unscrew the nut, it will just twist off the bolt! It is heavy if you plan on using it all day. The supplied belt clip is good for pulling your pants off! In forward it has three power settings. I usually use the low setting until snug, and finish the job with a torque wrench. I would have givent it 5 stars if it werent for the poor placement of the "forward/reverse" switch. Everytime I use it (and I mean everytime) my hand hits the reverse button. I need to make a concious effort to hold the gun low on the handle. I thought it was me until I let my friend use it and he kept hitting the reverse/forward switch also. It might not be so bad if the switch had a more positive and firm detent, but the switch moves with the slightest contact. Very poor design. Can I live with it, I suppose for the price, I will, but it is certainly annoying. As for the power, very powerful, lots of torque and doesnt drain a standard Milwaukee Li battery very fast. Great value however, This is the only reason I am not returning it. I will figure out a solution for the switch issue. ... show more
