my husband does some car Maintenance in our garage, at 65 cracking lug nuts by hand is not fun, so we bought this value priced impact gun. He tested it on three cars, worked like a charm. Just wasn’t willing to buy the DeWalt version because we don’t use it that often.

Dewalt Battery 5Ah fits well. It works good for breakaway on Car and 6 Lug Pickup. It has the safely stop to prevent fast spinning upon breakaway preventing lug from flying out. I'd rather be in total control, but the logic is built in. 3 strengths to select when tightening. The lowest or weakest setting works well going back on so you can use a torque wrench to finish if wanted. The other two settings are stronger torque. Used for rotating tires on 2 cars. No Problem. I have been wanting one of these for a long time as I do maintenance on our own vehicles whenever possible but just couldn't justify spending over $200 for an impact wrench that was only going to be used occasionally. One of our vehicles in particular has a wheel nut that is torqued to 140 pounds and I could remove it if I used a cheater pipe along with a ratchet. Those days came to an end when this tool arrived! While the tool manufacturer recommends a 5AH battery I was able to remove the lug nuts with ease using just a 3AH battery that wasn't even fully charged. The batteries they want to use while not manufactured by the tool company fit the tool very well without any looseness. ... show more
