    • A noticeable difference - with a caveat

This is another one of those supplements where everyone has anecdotal triumphs and failures, and any time you try to get your hopes up, you read in the Wikipedia about how baseless all the claims are in the studies. One of the things Sports Research seems to have a grip on, though, is supplementing that actually supplements; in other words, substances you can take that are already in your body, and you level back up on them, and order is restored. There may be other good ones on the market, but based on their other products, this is the only one I've tried so far. I have a specific use case where I need the "container" the substance comes in (the gel casing or whatnot) to be made of certain materials or I'll either have a bad reaction, or won't seem to absorb it. And based on their L-theanine product and plenty of competitors, I know that there's a reproducible difference in effect --for me--. So it's no surprise, but still a happy surprise, that this CoQ10 continues their trend of -my- anecdotal success. No one compound saves the day for me, but they all play their part, and this was one of the "missing links" that helped set everything off together making me feel greater than the sum of their parts. The wild bit is, I took this almost on a lark because someone was telling me about the compound, and I found out -after- I'd been taking it that some of my disease's worst symptoms are, in part, due to a deficiency here. So it really means a lot when you reach out to a brand you trust and they can deliver on their reputation, to make sure their version of the thing you try is of a rock solid quality. ... show more

    • Great Product, Except For One Thing!

This is our 2nd order of CoQ10 from Sports Research. We bought it along with their K2+D3 and Garlic and Krill oil supplements in hopes of helping reduce our high BP and cholesterol. I am happy to say our BP has decreased since starting the combination of supplements, a regular exercise routine, and a healthy whole foods diet. However, we have not had blood work done yet so I don’t know if our cholesterol has decreased. I do like that it is made with one of the more highly recommended USP ingredients at this time according to my research. However, I am very upset that it is not made with Organic coconut like it currently states it is several different times on the Amazon order page, as this was one of the main reasons we chose this brand. Certified organic ingredients are extremely important and top priority to us in anything we consume. Therefore, if we do find a brand of CoQ10 made with organic ingredients we will have to switch. Please update this information on Amazon, as it is false and therefore very misleading to the consumer. If it wasn't for this I would have definitely rated it a 5. Thank you. ... show more

I really like these caps. They are very easy to swallow. They have no funny taste. I love this brand too. I have purchased many other brands but have this one I now have on automatic refill. I have learned through the years you get what you pay for especially with supplements. At 56 I have decided to do everything I can to help keep my body healthy going forward. Something that I have not been interested in in my youth. Now I am for certified organic non gmo everything. I do ongoing research on what the best things are to put into your body.
