- MATERIAL: Our cards are 100% Plastic PVC that is produced in our state-of-the-art facility in Brazil. They provide the durability of plastic but with the authentic feel of paper cards. When shuffling and dealing these cards you will be amazing by the buttery smooth finish. They are less susceptible to getting bent or damaged from liquids. They can be washed and cleaned as opposed to paper cards. As a result, a single deck of Copag cards can last as long as 50 times that of a paper deck.
- CARD TYPE: This product includes twelve decks of 52 cards, 2 jokers and a guarantee card. The decks are poker sized which measure 3 7/16 by 2 1/2 . This is considered a wide size. The letter size is jumbo which makes the cards easier to read. Each letter and symbol measure about 1/2 in length.
- PACKAGING: The decks are included in a durable hard plastic case with gold lettering and a gold spade symbol divider. The case has a slim design that only measures 1 when closed. The case will make the cards easier to store and transport to your game nights!
- HISTORY: Copag has been a leader in the playing card market for over 100 years. Our heritage originated in Brazil and spread through South America. Copag was more recently introduced to the US in the early 2000s. Our 1546 design was introduced in 2003 and has been a symbol of elegance and quality for our brand.

So I recently had need for new playing cards. With two teenagers in the house, I seem to lose cards all the time. So, I decided to buy a few sets of different brands to give them a try. I can say, with three minor issues, that these are the best cards I have ever used and they still deserve a 5-star rating. PROS: they are very easy to shuffle, hold well in the hand and are not slippery, the text and numbers are easy to read and they feel tear-proof and should last quite a long time. CONS: like I said, there are three small issues. 1) these cards have an odd smell, almost like celery seed and kerosene, but definitely noticeable. Hopefully this will dissapate. 2) the dye of the red cards is a little off. More orange than I'd like, but not terrible. and 3) they are noisy when shuffling. Again, not bad, but noticeable. Even with these, compared to Gemaco, Monarch, Bicycle and others I have recently tried, you will not be disappointed.

I collect playing cards and own (and have played!) cards from Bicycle, Cartamundi, Kem, and many other manufacturers, and I can attest to the fact that Copag makes a good deck of cards. The feel of the plastic (yes, if you're not aware, these guys are made out of some type of plastic- PVC I think?) is good, and these cards can certainly take a beating- these have survived a beer spill or four and all it took to make 'em good as new again was wiping them down. The thickness of the cards is good and they shuffle well... these are definitely good playing cards. The only thing that I wish- and this doesn't affect my review on 'em- is that the designs on the back of the cards are a little staid and boring, but I was fully aware of that when I bought these.

We use Copag for our weekly Texas Hold 'Em tournaments and are more than worth it. With up to four tables running, these crease resistant cards have the best durability, feel, and ease of shuffling, and are easily cleaned. Normal playing cards would last maybe a month, our Copags are still going strong after six months.

Bought 4 decks in 2021. Bought 2 more 2023. None have chipped or cracked. This with 24 player and 22 games. (4 hour games). What is odd is that the 2021’s still look fairly good. The 2023 set are very dirty. The decks get moved around so I do t think it is table conditions. Diff manufacturer? I still like these cards. I’m replacing them every 2 years. (Yes I know it should be more often but we’re cheap).

The ace of spades (on the top of deck when opened) has manufacturing defects. If you open a fresh pack and cut the deck only once, it is very obvious where the ace of spades resides due to some manufacturing defect or other that makes the card “pop out”. This ruins my game. I have bought three decks and all have this issue out of the box. I have been in extensive contact with the company and they have rejected this notion and often not responded to my inquiries. It should also be pointed out the hues on the backs of the cards are different enough to identify some cards from others. Again, I have bought three packs and all of them have this issue. At this point, I would not recommend copags to anyone. They have also been rejecting my review comments on the product to keep their name clean.
