She is pretty old now and can't make it to the litter box anymore due to a tumor on her bladder so we have been using 22x23 training pads for dogs which can also be used for cats which we purchased at the store. The pee does not go through the pad and so will not get to the carpet. I got two new lab puppies and they were eating the small disposable pee pads so I got these blankets and they seem to be great. I actually spilled a big bowl of dog water this morning on it and I was a little upset, but when I pulled up the blanket, the carpet was completely dry underneath, so I would definitely buy again. I just throw them in the washer and wash and reuse. They sleep in crates at night in my bedroom but I let them out every 3-4 hours to pee. I have the corner of the room cornered off by the gates and blankets on the floor I let them out they go then get a drink and back into the crates. Works great. Saves the carpet ... show more

This product is fabulous! I bought my first one to put under my potty training son when he isn't in his bed (e.g., movie nights on the couch or floor). They are very absorbent, and I've never had a leak. I've also washed the pad at least a dozen times, and it still looks great. I let it air dry, but I don't see why it couldn't go in the dryer. Recently, my friend expressed frustration with the pee smell from her older cat occasionally peeing outside the litter box. She puts down pee pads, but they often move around or get holes, and the pee leaks to the floor below. I bought one for her to put under the pee pads as an extra layer of protection.     • Works Well, But Shrinks After Washing

I bought this dog pee pad hoping for a reusable, eco-friendly solution for my puppy — and for the most part, it does its job well. It’s absorbent, doesn't leak through, and the material feels durable at first use. However, after the first wash and dry cycle, I noticed a big downside: it shrank significantly. The size was perfect when I got it, but after washing and tumble drying according to the care instructions, it came out much smaller, which makes it less practical for my dog’s needs now. That said, it still functions properly and absorbs well, so I’m still using it — just in a smaller space. I would recommend air drying instead of machine drying to avoid the shrinkage. Overall, a good product with decent performance, but keep in mind it may lose size after washing. ... show more
