Purchased to travel fro USA to another country. Set received quickly although, from the look of the packaging, I thought it might be damaged. NOT, the set was in *perfect condition and the silver color was right. I was surprised at how *light the luggage is but I was excited because I don’t like a bag to be too heavy before I even pack it. each case held as many items as expected. All the cases made it back to the USA *damage free minus a few scrapes from handling. Also, all the bags can be *packed inside the largest one for storage. Used a few times now - so far so good. No dents thus far, seems durable enough for general use (anything will dent if abused), the locks are a nice touch, sturdy large zippers, wheels haven't broken and work smoothly, no issues with the telescoping handles. The duffle bag is durable - good zippers and able to be used as a carry on. The backpack is very cool - lots of zippered storage areas as well as internal pockets, it's padded for electronics and can fit a remarkable amount of items and yet still small enough to be used as a "personal item" when flying - I put it underneath the airplane seat in front of me and still have a little room for my 6 ft frame sized legs. ... show more

I decided to return this luggage set. The shiny (black) finish looked "cheap". Otherwise, I was very happy with all the other product features. The shiny finish just wasn't for me. Bought these because my 30+ year old luggage wouldn't survive another airplane trip. This luggage seems nice but hard case feels a bit flimsier than we thought it would be, but this is our first hard case set so we will see when we take them to Hawaii in a couple months. There is a different reason i gave them only 4 stars for quality though; the middle sized suitcase handle would not retract after it was extended to the last notch. After unzipping the inner liner of the suitcase, my significant other determined it was the button mechanism on the handle not working properly. It only malfunctions on the last notch though, the other two settings it works fine. I wanted to return or exchange them but he said no. Since this will be his suitcase when we travel (because i am the girl and get the largest case) and he promised not to curse when it malfunctions on him at an airport, we are keeping them against my better judgement. Ordered to replace luggage I had while actually on vacation. Not only were these light, but also sturdy and durable. I love that in addition to the three piece luggage, you also get a nice roomy back pack and duffle bag. Great value for the money. And being a Texas A&M Alumni, I loved the color.
