  • The revision of this case has fixed the PSU cable cramming problem!
Style: ATX Mid-Tower Color: NR600
The media could not be loaded. This case is an absolute pleasure to build in. I have the new revision of this case where one side of the hard drive rack is held on with screws instead of rivets so that one side is easily removable (see my video). On my user manual it lists this case as V2.0 2019-07. This turned out to be important for me because I have an old non-modular 750W PC Power & Cooling PSU. It has a ridiculous amount of connectors that can't be removed. I was easily able to pack them away without any trouble after removing one side of the hard drive rack. Everything else about this is easy to work with too. I maxed out the fans and put in 6 silent NoiseBlocker 120mm case fans along with a Noctua 120mm fan for the CPU cooler. The airflow is nothing short of amazing even with the super silent 16db fans. A full sized sheet of 8.5x11 printer paper will stick to the front of the mesh like a magnet. For those people complaining about the installation of the bottom front 120mm fan... You aren't supposed to use standard self tapping fan screws. CoolerMaster provides specific mounting pieces so you may mount that fan from the front of the case instead. This is illustrated in section 7 picture 2 of the user manual. Frankly I would have liked if I could mount all the fans that way, it's much easier than the standard self tapping screws. There is also more than enough room to install feet upon feet of USB RGB strips if you don't want to buy RGB fans. My motherboard doesn't have a RGB header and I wanted to save some money so that's what I did. Buy this case, there are none better for anywhere near this price that have this much cooling capacity while being so easy to work with. ... show more

  • Great case! Unless you are using a large PSU
Style: ATX Mid-Tower Color: NR600
I really like this case. The material and build quality are high. I like the thought that went into the cable management. My one complaint is in the size of the PSU bay. I have a 1300w EVGA PSU that wouldn't fit in the PSU bay without removing the side of the HDD enclosure. The only way to remove the side of the HDD enclosure is to drill out 4 rivets. I've had the same problem on cheaper cases, but expected a more elegant solution from Cooler Master. If the bays had been secured with screws it would have been a lot easier to remedy. The second issue is once you remove the side of the HDD bay, there is no alternate place to mount a HDD. I realized that with a little force I could mount the HDD vertically near the top right of the case. All it would take is mounting the HDD bay with screws and drilling some alternate HDD mounting positions to solve this problem. Granted, not many people run such s gigantic PSU. But some of us do. ... show more

  • A case that could have been great, if not for some FATAL flaws.
Style: ATX Mid-Tower Color: NR600
Long time PC builder on both a personal and professional level. I've worked with half a dozen other Cooler Master cases in the past and typically enjoy the brand. With this purchase, I was looking to house some leftover hardware and put it to work as a secondary streaming box. The NR600 fit my budget and seemed to offer some pretty nice features that aren't common in this price range. The Good: - Awesome tempered glass side panel, super easy to remove and work with - Easy to access and abundant back panel with plenty of room for cabling - Great airflow, can hold 4 120mm fans and 2x 140mm fans up top. - Cool magnetic dust filter for the top - Lots of SSD mounting space The Bad RIVETS. RIVETS EVERYWHERE. -The entire bottom, including power supply mounting area AND the 3.5" HDD cage, are RIVETED IN. This case could have been one of the best in this price range, but this totally ruined it for me. Not only does this severely limit the power supply size you could fit in this case, as you must slide it in through the side, but it also makes working with 3.5" HDDs and mounting the front fans incredible difficult. Most cases, the HDD case is removable so you can mount your drives outside of the case and then reinstall the cage with drives in place. Not here. The whole mount is sealed inside the bottom of the case and immovable. Good luck finding a small enough screw driver, or if you happen to have larger hands. Makes this space virtually unusable. At bare minimum, the HDD cage should be removable with screws, and it would have been a bonus if the power supply area was also accessible (although rivets here are more common). -SSD Mounting - They use this weird "pin" system. They're half pin, half thumb screw, and rely on rubber gaskets and pressure to stay in place. In all my years, I've never seen a system like this and I absolutely hate it. Once your drives are mounted, there is a very real chance they'll move around as these strange screw-pins don't truly lock them in place. These screw-pin-things are used in abundance all around the case. This is another thing where Cooler Master should not have tried to reinvent the wheel, and ended up hurting the design more than they helped it. Overall, for $60-65 it's an OK case. It looks great with RGB fans, has awesome airflow, and is very easily accessible via the awesome glass and rear panels. However, the pin-screw system and the excessive use of rivets instead of screws, absolutely killed this case for me. There is no way I'd buy one again as a result. **NOTE**: From reading reviews, it sounds like there is a newer version of this case that uses screws to resolve my major issue with the case. I find it really disappointing that Amazon is selling both versions of this case, and you should know that you're basically gambling with your money if you buy it here. At the same time I bought this case, my GF spent $10 more and bought the Lian Li Lancool 215 case, and my oh my is it amazing. If you can spring the extra $10, it's absolutely a FAR superior case that is easier to work in, includes more fans, has more features, AND DOESN'T USE RIVETS. Do yourself a favor and skip this Cooler Master unit. ... show more

  • Great budget case
Style: ATX Mid-Tower Color: NR600
I built my new Ryzen 3600X system in this case, and it was mostly a pleasure to work in. Cable management is plentiful, with tie-down points littered all over the back of the motherboard tray, and mounts for three 3.5" drives in front of the power supply is wonderful. They even give you nifty toolless rails for the drive cage. The mesh front, provided you buy some better fans to mount in front of it, does a fantastic job of keeping temperatures down. My CPU was hitting around 71C during a torture test with the case open, and only 74C while closed up with three Noctua fans at the front. Overall this is a great looking case at a fantastic price, but there are a couple drawbacks. The included fans are rattly garbage, so add some better ones into your budget. I didn't think both of them would be such crap so I'm stuck dealing with a clicky rear exhaust fan for now. My other gripe is the drive cage in front of the power supply: it's riveted in place. This makes PSU installation annoying and the bottom 120mm fan nearly impossible to screw in properly. All said and done, I really like this case. For 70$ you can't go wrong, especially if you're looking for a stylish ATX case with plenty of 3.5" drive mounts and great airflow. ... show more
