I bought this cooler because of the RGB and the price. I put this in my first pc build to cool my Ryzen 7 5800x. It has not disappointment me!! The installation was pretty easy and the fan is quiet. Great, works awesome. Would love a setup video with the instructions. I had to goto youtube because the instructions weren't clear enough. Other than that the colors are great and it is SILENT. Reducing the stars by one as the rebate hasn't been honored. It's been over two months and nothing. No email or phone number to contact to receive the rebate. Comes with 4 different power settings and the only one I can hear is the strongest (Full Speed at 1900-2000rpm). And EVEN THEN it's not too loud. Great value for what you get. These fans made me happy. I built my first computer and never knew computer fans could be so quiet. I always bought my computer prebuilt from stores. I will never buy prebuilt computers anymore.     • Reasonable temperatures on an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X

I bought this to cool an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X I was installing in a work / gaming computer to replace a single fan / heat sink Master Cooler setup that came with the original build / original CPU. I didn't know until I received the new CPU that AMD recommends liquid cooling for the Ryzen 9 5950X, so I was anxious about whether this would work at all. Installation was a bit of a pain but it didn't have to be. I didn't realize until too late that I could have used the backplate already installed on my board. Otherwise the parts / instructions are intuitive enough. The CPU idles around 35C and runs in the 70s and 80s (89 Max) during high load. Most of the workday it's between 39 - 60. Apparently this particular chip set is fine into the 90s under stress and "runs hot" anyway. As others mentioned the setup itself is really big, but didn't end up blocking my case or any RAM slots. Installing the mounting brackets and bar clips took a bit of trial and error as the manual doesn’t specify some aspects. It would show which position one slide pin should be in but not the other side which also has a positional adjustment. This probably took me about 2 hours to figure out but it felt worth it in the end. It keeps my AMD Ryzen 7 5800X at 37-39C idle. Goes in the 55c range when I fire up WoW. The manual could have been better, and it would have been cool if the actual pieces had the relevant letter on them somewhere as the pictures in the manual were rather misleading. Overall great cooler for its price point. Bought a used in newish condition for 30$. ... show more
