It keeps food items cold using ice packs. I did purchase a few more bigger ice packs. The type you fill with water and can lay flat to freeze. I ordered this travel cooler box/bag my frozen, and cold items in that I purchased from the store. I am the type of shopped that likes to get all of the sales and deals, so I am bad about going to three or four stores to get what I need. A lot of times it’s pretty hot outside so if you leave the items in your car for too long, they will be ruined so that defeats the purpose. I typically use cooler bags, but then I saw this and thought it would be absolutely perfect. It’s pretty big and should hold a decent amount of stuff, maybe not everything but a lot. It has metal handles on the side, so you can actually bring this in your house and unload it. It’s pretty sturdy and well-made and I haven’t noticed anything leaking even though there has been some sweating inside. There are four pockets on the front and two on the side. You can put smaller items in there that don’t need to be kept cold. When it’s not in use, you can pull the bottom cardboard out and collapse it shut. I do like that. It doesn’t take up a lot of room that way. I am very happy with this item and I know it’s going to get a ton of use. ... show more

Does a great job of keeping things cool and organized. Only drawback is that its not completely leak proof. The water leak from melted ice didnt happen until about 6 hours later. I'd recommend using the ice packs that come with it to mitigate that. Best part is it folds down for easy storage afterwards. Would definitely recommend ... show more
