We use a backpack cooler regularly for tailgates and I can tell right out of the box we'll like this one much better than our current! Extra cushion on the shoulder straps and back for comfy carrying. Lots of room for drinks and food, with small to and side compartments for easy access to certain items, like our kids drinks and snacks. Will use it for the first time this weekend, so I'll update how well it holds ice/water.

Ok, this bag is rather ridiculous. It truly is amazingly well designed for your picnic/camping/urban trekking needs, and has a slot for everything, even if you don't realize you need it! The main compartment is huge (the whole bag is, really), and is extremely well insulated, far better than even any cooler lunch bags I own. The smaller top compartment is equally well insulated, and great for keeping the smaller things, or items you don't want crushed in the bigger main compartment, like fruits and sauces. Those are the fairly straightforward compartments, it is the rest where this gets truly impressive. On one side, there is a mesh pocket for waterbottles or whatever you want to stash, that stretches as needed. On the other side, that space has a zipper compartment, padded, for keeping more fragile items, like bottles of wine (or bananas, etc). Both very practical side compartment. On the bottom is straps to attach a blanket, yoga mat, etc. There is also a corded area where you can attach more things. Space for everything, really. But it gets better. Next is the outer back compartments - a smaller one for cutlery or condiments and whatnot, and then one that is literally designed for cutting boards, plates, wine glasses, etc, etc, with handy little bands to secure everything i place. I likely won't use those exactly as intended, but they seem quite handy. It also comes with a corkscrew and bottle opener attached. As an actual bag, it is very well designed too, with very comfortable padded straps and a chest strap to help with the weight bearing. I was very, very impressed with the quality and design of this item, and now that I own it, I'm inspired to do more treks!

I was so happy to receive this pack. It is very large and will literally load up lunch for 4 people easily. I love the quality of the pack and its utility. There's a side pocket which will fit a couple bottles of wine which is a nice touch. The top compartment is separate from the lower, larger compartment, and is of good size as well. This will definitely be my day hike backpack, as it will hold everything I could possibly need/want to take with me. It comes with a chest buckle, if i were to be picky I would've wanted the waist buckle as well, but this is not a dealbreaker by any stretch of imagination. This is a great buy for the price.

The media could not be loaded. There is really no where that you can go wrong with this backpack!! This has so much space I don't think I would want to carry it fully loaded! I am small! I will however load it up an ask my husband to carry it! Hehe! Seriously though this backpack rocks! You have space for plates, silverware, napkins, cups and other things. A hot or cold storage on the side that can fit 2 wine bottles. A water bottle side storage net. A little pouch that can hold keys, id, etc. An upper dry storage area and a very big wet cooler area. There are also adjustable straps at the bottom of the backpack for strapping a blanket or jacket to. A bottle opener and wine opener. Also there is a chest buckle for extra support when carrying it. This is a serious backpack for a great picnic! You can have a feast and some wine and bring it all with you! No romantic picnics for us. We got this for when we go places with all our kids! There is so much room, we should have no problem packing enough food and drinks for them. No more dragging a cooler up and down the mountain when we hike! No more awkward cooler bag that kills one shoulder! Hello backpack that holds it all and distributes the weight! No coolers allowed? Grab the backpack honey! Adventure awaits with this backpack and a many we will have with this thing!

This works great. It is what it says it is, a very large soft sided cooler with backpack strap. The whole its a picnic backpack works well. It has room for lunch for 4 with icepacks. The wine bottle pocket also is insulated well and it can hold a 2 liter or a large wine bottle no problem. The stitching on the bag its self is quite good i loaded it up full and the seams didn't show stress and the straps are all well reinforced and also did't putt at their stitching. This is a large pack, I am 6'2" and the bag fits easily over my shoulders and it stops about 4 inches above my waist line. This isn't a long hiking pack but a normal backpack so the fit is as expected and quite comfortable for the hour I walked with it on and full. I only tested for keeping things colder than outside not how well it works for keeping things warmer than outside. Overall a great insulated bag.

I like near a beach in Florida, and have always had a problem carrying bulky coolers and bags of plastic tumblers, tablecloths, utensils and the like. With this cooler/backpack, no one even knows what I'm carrying with me, as it looks like a common backpack. What isn't common, is that it has a deep cooler bag as it's main compartment, and a smaller one on the zippered lid. It's got a mesh pocket on one side, and a foil lined zippered pocket on the other side, and if that isn't enough, another zippered pocket on the front that can carry a wide variety of utensils and tumblers, glassware, etc... The shoulder straps are adjustable with even a chest strap. There are so many uses for this that I doubt I could think of all the possibilities.
