The product was priced low so I thought I'd give it a try. I have used it twice now. The one day I used it was for a golf outing when it was 104 ( feels like temp ) degrees in Tampa. I used a gallon bag of ice and there was still ice in the cooler after about 5 hours. My drinks were cold. I am happy with the purchase. The bag did not get wet on the outside at all. I did notice while I had it on my back that water came through the zipper at top because I leaned over. That's not a bad note, I'm just writing not to lean over or it's going to leak through. Very disappointed that after using this several times one of the seams ripped. That pocket holds plastic forks and spoons, napkins, and salt & pepper packets—nothing heavy.
