This is my first time working with G10 and I’m very pleased with how the scales turned out. I used an 80 grit belt to get the initial shape of the scales after epoxying the scales to the knife. Next time I’ll start with a 36 or 60 grit. After using the 80 grit belt, I slowly worked my way up to a 1200 grit paper. Then used a polishing wheel. The G10 sands to a super fine dust full of glass. It’s imperative to wear a respirator when working with this material. But the end product is well worth it. ... show more

I have never liked G-10, but these work and they do a good job. I don't like to wear a mask, and its best to do so when sanding or cutting G-10. But these are the colors I use frequently and they are as good as anything.
