We traveled with 1 suit, 2 shirts, 2 dresses and 1 pair of slacks. When we rolled it into the duffel bag, there wasn't much room inside. Once we got my husbands size 13 dress shoes in the shoe pocket there was even less room. I don't blame the bag though. We were able to get a small packing cube, my husbands underwear and socks and a travel steamer inside. Once we got it all zipped we realized there were hooks on each end to hook together so the zippers don't come apart. It traveled well, the trolly sleeve worked well on my suitcase and it fit in the overhead bin with no trouble. Word to the wise. DO NOT use plastic hangers. The hangers need to be somewhat bendable. The concept of the convertible "garment / duffel bag" is a great one: Very easy to keep your business clothes in order, along with underwear, socks, shoes, etc. in the "duffel bag" part. Makes travel a breeze when throwing in the overhead compartments. The issue I have with the Modoker bag is, that is is about 80% of the size it should be. In other words, it could be 15% - 20% larger. There is not quite enough room for the shirts and jackets as there should be. The quality is what I would call "fair" in materials and workmanship - I don't see this as being a long-term, very durable bag that will last 20 years (as my previous Samsonite garment bag did), so I am not expecting that out of this. I'd be pleasantly surprised if it lasted 5 years. But, we will see. Overall, satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

It’s almost laughable how much you can fit in this bag. I have 3 complete suits and 2 formal military uniforms in this bag, as well as 2 pairs of dress shoes. It was getting a little tough to close at that point, but somehow it doesn’t look like it’s bursting at the seams. It’s about to take its first long trip as packed, so if my clothes come out on the baggage claim conveyor like a yard sale, I’ll update this review. I wondered how I’ll get my poofy wedding dress to my destination wedding and these bags could not be more perfect. Purchased this for an out of state wedding, planning to fly with my suit. Getting the bag zipped up can be a little bit challenging, but not so much trouble that it was frustrating. The big surprise for me was how much storage space you actually get inside, I was able to store a pair of dress boots in the bag along with my suit. Also, I'm a big guy and have a custom suit that is on the larger side, and it fit in the bag well. Held up well for my needs, but may not be best for someone who would need to travel with this very regularly. While the build quality is fine I could see it wearing out with heavy use. Whoever designed this bag is a genius. I bought it initially to have a carry-on bag to put my dress shirts in when flying but this bag is so much more! Everything from the zipper storage area for suits/shirts, shoe cubby, small pockets, etc was so perfectly convenient. I especially like the fact I can use this as a normal duffle bag if needed. Don't worry about this bag hurting your shoulders either, the strap pad is high quality and didn't strain my neck at all. Really love this bag! Going to get one for my brother soon! ... show more

Wow !!! this was a pleasant surprise. Bought this for a weekend getaway. Needed to bring a sports coat ,2 shirts ,slacks jeans ,shoes , a few extra shirts , sweats , toiletries , phone chargers ETC !!! It was an impulsive buy and my husband couldn’t believe this was all he needed. It fit everything ! He kept saying this was the best 40 bucks he spent !!! Not sure he would check this bag but for carry on it was a huge hit. Suit jacket and shirts didn’t get wrinkled kept them in the plastic as well. Bravo. Garments (a suit and long dress) were mostly wrinkle free when we arrived. The bag would be better if it had something that held the garments on both sides more firmly before rolling up, but all in all it was great, especially for the price.
