It has a reassuring weight to it that screams durability, yet the interior brushed fleece is buttery soft against the skin. I appreciate that the black dye is incredibly saturated and deep, giving it a sleek, stealthy aesthetic that pairs as easily with dark denim for a night out as it does with joggers for a lazy Sunday morning. It feels like a piece of gear designed to withstand the daily grind while keeping me exceptionally warm. Regarding the fit, the Large strikes that perfect balance between relaxed skater chic and a structured silhouette. It isn't drowning me in fabric, but it gives me enough room to move freely, which makes sense given the "Cons" skateboarding heritage. The cut is generous through the shoulders and chest without looking boxy, and the length hits just right below the waist, ensuring I’m not constantly tugging it down. I’ve found that many hoodies in this size range tend to have sleeves that are either too short or billow out too much, but these are tailored nicely, ending in sturdy ribbed cuffs that grip the wrist firmly without cutting off circulation. This keeps the sleeves exactly where I want them, whether I’m typing at a desk or out running errands in the cold. The construction details are where this garment really separates itself from the pack. One of my biggest pet peeves is a floppy hood that refuses to sit right, but Converse nailed the architecture here. This sweatshirt is a nice smooth cotton on the outside- it looks high quality. The inside is more of a towel texture rather than a fuzzy sweatshirt but it is still reasonably warm (but not quite as warm as the fuzzy type of sweatshirt). I normally do not go for branded clothing, but the cool steampunk design on the back is so intersting that I am ok with it being a brand sweatshirt. I think it is a little bit on the expensive side for a sweatshirt but not terribly- I normally get sweatshirts that are around the $60 mark and this sweatshirt is $80 at the time of this review so it’s not a huge premium for a branded sweatshirt, and this one is very cute! It is well made and seems durable so far. I do not think to shrunk at all in the wash but I got it slightly oversized so I probably would not be able to notice if there was very minimal shrinkage. (but I don’t think there was any…) It fits well- I am 5’6” and 136lbs and I got a size medium which is slightly oversized on me (I wanted the oversized vibe). I think this is a cute and high quality sweatshirt and worth it if you think the design on the back is cool! (Which I do, but it is prominent so you should be getting it specifically for that design).

If you’ve never felt or worn one of these, you might balk at the price tag, but I can assure you this is no ordinary hoodie - this is some seriously good quality kit! From the cuffs to the body, and on to the printing, this just oozes high-end:- The cuffs are simultaneously soft but heavy duty. These aren’t going to fray anytime soon - durable but supple, they feel like they’ll last for years. The main material is extremely heavy duty - this is not a warm-weather hoodie at all, and I’ll be getting a LOT of use out of this during the cooler months. It’s warm, soft and very very comfy. The hood is, remarkably, lined! That lining is soft and comfy, with zero scratchiness - absolutely Top Tier stuff. Printing is extraordinary. It’s so thick and chunky, but very flexible. It’s quite 3D, giving a premium look I’ve never seen before. Meanwhile, the discreet ‘Cons’ logo on the front is a lovely touch. So, should you be in a position to get one of these, I STRONGLY recommend it! The price tag might seem hefty at first, but this is a hoodie which is going to last WAY longer than the average offering, and look fantastic too. You’ll know if from the second it comes out of the bag - this is seriously premium gear! Now, maybe Santa can add another to my list - this is by far my fave hoodie ever!!!

This Converse men's premium cons hoodie sweatshirt wraps around me like a big bear hug of coziness! Thick medium weight fabric with tight weave feels extra durable and provides some windbreaking quality outside. The basic black color is complimented by the Converse All Stars logo on the back. The graphic is not just printed but it is embossed with a thick puffy texture that is extra durable and will not wash off easily. I ordered one size larger than I normally wear so the sleeves can keep my fingers warm when pulled down over my hands. It has become my favorite relaxing-around-the-house shirt to wear, but it is stylish enough to wear in public and be proud of this classic American brand that's been around for over 100 years. The hood is both comfortable to wear all the way over my head or rolled up behind my neck like a travel pillow. Drawstring closure keeps the hood tight around my face when outside in the wind.
