If I could give these tennis shoes 10 stars, I would. I’ve had 3 foot surgeries that have left me with chronic pain. I have to wear men’s shoes to get the width I need, for the bottom of my feet. Honestly, these are the best tennis shoes that I've EVER owned, seriously! I am a senior citizen who was told by my orthopedic doctor that I had arthritis setting into my knee. I then said to that knee "Not On My Watch!". SO I immediately told that doctor to take a hike after he wanted to predict that I'd have a knee replacement sometime in the future, and took matters into my own hands. First, I changed my diet, took my exercise seriously, and tooled up for an active lifestyle. Having a painful knee did limit my range of motion (due to being overweight) to a degree where I had to learn how to walk & balance myself, so choosing the right shoe was very important to me. After visiting my podiatrist and getting the correct measurements I ordered these shoes. Fast forward: One day recently had to take the car in for service & decided to catch the mass transit back home. This required me to walk hills, and this is where the value of these shoes became evident. As I was walking down a steep hill I thought to myself "Oh My, these shoes feel as if I am walking on cushions!" On the treadmill the balance is next level, so much so that they (my feet) are not a thought. Of all the shoes I've owned over the decades these are truly the best ever.
