I love this bookcase. Bought this bookcase in 2022 and it’s still great. This bookcase was very easy to assemble, I did it myself, 7 months pregnant in under an hour. It’s extremely sturdy and honestly a little heavy to move. It can hold a lot and hold very heavy items. I had 2 sets of Encyclopedias on them for over a year and the shelves never bent over time. I own an antique store and needed a bookcase that could stand on its own without being against a wall so I like that there is a back bar behind every shelf and still looks and feels open. It prevents things from falling and makes layering with pictures very easy. I don’t love that the screws are visible on the sides however when I first got it I painted the screws white and then later on I got some small white circle wood cutouts from hobby lobby, painted them white and just sticked them in the holes to cover them up but overall a very nice sturdy bookcase. Solid shelf, will be durable even when fully loaded. Smooth finish blends well with my living room furniture. Took my son a bit less than 90 minutes to assemble. I bought two and expect the second one to be built faster now that we know a couple tricks. Instructions are decent, but common sense is worth a lot! I gave this four stars only because it was not fun to put together at all. The instructions were small and hard to follow. But once it was finally put together, I'm very happy with the look, the quality and it works well for what I wanted it for. Love the look!

The shelf itself is beautiful and very sturdy, and looks lovely in my living room. It is more than enough for the purpose I wanted it for which is displaying knick knacks, fountains and candles, etc. My husband assembled it however, and said it was a little difficult, and the instructions weren’t precise. He said you have to pay close attention to what you’re doing because it’s easy to put the pieces on backwards, and the screws are very cheap. But each piece is marked and once you figure it out, it’s all good. ... show more

Bought this bookshelf in the dark espresso color. What arrived was a black bookshelf. I have reached out to their customer service who is adamant that they sent me the dark espresso color despite pictures showing otherwise. They offered to return the item.. but it was already assembled before we realized the color discrepancy. Don’t buy anything from this company. I know I won’t. Also, assembly was painfully difficult, the instructions are ambiguous at best. ... show more

This product is packed in foam and each piece is wrapped in packing foam sheets. No scratches. The white high gloss is very nice. Goes well with my other products. Perfect for what I wanted! Smaller and more open to see the colorful wall behind the bookcase, white instead of brown or black, holds plenty of books. I love it! It took aout an hour and a half for 2 of us to put together.

I am obsessed! This bookcase is under $100 and looks beautiful in my space. I was expecting it to be shorter but I’m thrilled it’s nice and tall. Fits all my books and was easy to put together. I also have the omega tv stand from Connivence Concepts and they look great together.
