I'm very happy with the quality and design of this table, but it's too small. It's mainly the height, which is going to be an issue for just about everyone. It should be at least 3 inches taller. It's noticeably shorter than the seat of the couch. It honestly looks like a bench in person. However, I will say if you WANT something small, this is your table. The quality is good for the price. Great wood grain texture. --- I read a review warning of fiberglass while opening this table. And sure enough, there was a bit present. I paid $129 for a TV table, $45 each for end tables, $49 for a 6 ft light - NO problems. This piece of furniture was a total disaster. I am 60 years old and remodeled my entire living room including laying flooring and installing baseboards and crown molding. The very last piece that I needed was a coffee table, but I wanted it to be small. About 2 hours before my son returned from US Navy nuclear training, I had no option but to put it together to make this room complete. Every single one of the four cam bolts FAILED - BROKE. In my 40 plus years of putting together furniture I have never in my life seen broken camlock bolts. I thought they were plastic, but when I showed them to my son he assured me they were some sort of ridiculously inferior metal. I had to go to a home store and buy new ones, which were obviously a slightly different size and barely hold the bottom shelf to the legs on this table. It is in my living room, but the makers should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. Embarrassed. My initial thought was to invite them to my house to watch me burn the pieces that I smashed with a sledgehammer, but here it is. In my brand new living room and I'm afraid to breathe and near it. I have three pieces of cherry furniture in my LR, and they are all a deeper reddish color. This table is more of an orange shade. I’m keeping it, because I like the style and it seems sturdy, but I’ll try to find product to make it look “redder.”

Ok, I gave it 5*’s for ease of assembly, but actually my 13-year-old son put it together. Perhaps that’s enough said, though? :-) I like this table because it’s simple and streamlined and easy to dust! I love the minimalist look, so the sharp, straight lines are exactly what I was looking for. I really like the shelf on the bottom, it’s a nice place for a few books you intend to read or a larger decorative piece. So far it’s been sturdy and handled three children’s attentions. Scuff marks have come off with a damp rag. I ultimately chose this table because it matched my existing end table, but I did search and compare, and did not find another table I’d prefer to purchase. I am planning to add the taller matching table to go behind my couch to display photos and a small lamp. I like Convenience Concepts Products because they are affordable but look and perform as high end furniture. ... show more

Having recently moved due to fire, I needed to buy furniture to replace the old, worn out and mismatched furniture which I left behind. I'd gotten tired of having a forty year old folding card table in front of my couch for lack of anything else. Everything available locally was ridiculously over-priced or not to my taste. It was fairly easy to assemble and looks wonderful. Slim, sleek and a good heighth. We have oversized sofa and chair and a half so it is almost too small for our furniture. But that's not the fault of the table, the dimensions were correct. It seems sturdy but I would hesitate to use it as a bench or ever have people sit on it if we have a large gathering. I love this coffee table! I live in a one bedroom apartment and needed a table that wasn't overpowering in my living room! It isn't too small, nor too big... it's sturdy, nice looking, great value for your money... I'm a 72 yr young female and assembled it by myself. It took me a little while because I can't get on the floor like I used to, but it's very easy to assemble, if I can do it, anyone can! Lol You can't go wrong buying this table. I purchased this as well as the matching console table and could not be happier. I wanted a very simple black coffee table with clean straight lines and that is exactly what this is. I don't have a lot of space between my couch and tv so I needed something that wasn't too wide so there would still be space to walk. This table is the perfect length and width for a smaller space. It takes minutes to assemble and everything you need is included. We did not have any issues at all putting this together and everything is tight and solid. It is very well made and mine had no flaws at all. The way it's packaged, I have a hard time thinking it could even get damaged, which was a huge relief to see. The measurements on the listings are correct. This is 17" x 48" x 17". The bottom shelf is 13 1/2" x 44 1/2" with about a 10" clearance between it and the top shelf. It looks beautiful and I would definitely repurchase again. It was well worth the cost. ... show more
