Description

The Terra Trail rolls fast in a straight line, similar to the Terra Speed. • Conti Speed/Trail setup Rock
Color: Black/Black skin foldable Size: 700 x 40
Review written after about 6 weeks (~550 miles) of mixed use on pavement, light and moderate gravel. The conti trail tire measures true to size 40mm on my front rim (i have a conti speed on the rear rim). Set up tubeless and the tires mounted easy. I run 34 psi fr/36 psi rear at my weight of ~65 kg. Can go a little lower for moderate all gravel rides. Good fast rolling set up. I believe others have also noted the following that the conti speed measures a tad narrow at 39 mm and does have a few small pin bubbles/weep spots, but the tire only looses about 3psi per day. Running with Stan’s regular. May try pouring in some Stan’s race. All in all these tires run fast which is what I wanted to accomplish, and oh so far don’t seem to be wearing fast as a few others have commented, but isn’t a concern really to me. ... show more

  • Very good tires. They’re Conti’s. What else can I say?
Color: Black/Black skin foldable Size: 700 x 40
Great for gravel rides and some single track, depending on conditions.

  • I bought two, got one good one (edited)
Color: Black/Black skin foldable Size: 700 x 40
I bought these over the winter and was unable to mount and use them until recently, so I can't return them. One of the tires is fine, but the other has sidewall pinholes that won't seal. It has to be a molding/manufacturing defect since there is plenty of sealant in the tire, and NO sealant ever spits out of the pinholes, just air. I'll try the manufacturer, but be warned, if you buy these get them mounted while you're still in the return-policy deadline. All that said, I really like the way these tires ride and roll. If you can avoid the leaks, these will serve you well on wet or dry. EDIT: Both of these tires are now in the trash. The one that was holding air was extremely easily punctured, and the rubber seemed crumbly and weak and would barely seal. The hole was small but I plugged it anyway, and it STILL leaked around the plug. Yes my sealant was good and there was plenty in the tire. I mean I had the bike on a maintenance stand and the tire would "seal" but all I had to do was squeeze the tire and it would start leaking again. Terra Trail are garbage tires. ... show more
