My coffee stays hot for over 5.5 hours. I like that this coffee tumbler fits underneath my Keurig. By removing the bottom portion of my coffee machine, where a mug/cup usually sit, the Contigo 16 oz tumbler fits perfectly which I appreciate. It does not leak which is a plus. It's a good value/affordable. Durable. It has a snap gadget on the lid. I had to pull very hard on it to pop it up. When this is in the up position it is ready for me to drink my hot coffee or hot tea. I am not crazy about the snap up gadget, but it is functional. The exterior is smooth with no rubber grip. It is easy to hold. It is not slippery to hold. It is well made so I expect the durability of the Contigo to last for many years. I purchased another brand coffee tumbler from Amazon (20 oz) but it didn't fit underneath my Keurig. However, this tumbler is 16 oz and is a perfect size for brewing fresh coffee with my Keurig. The price point of $9.99 is also a good value. I didn't want to spend a fortune on another coffee tumbler, so this black one fit my budget. I didn't care what color coffee tumbler I purchased as long as it was under $12! This coffee tumbler from Contigo arrived quickly. It was in a thin cardboard box with a clear plastic cover (not bubble wrap). There was no funky chemical smell coming from the tumbler. It is BPA free which I definitely appreciate. I couldn't wait to test it and see how many hours my coffee would stay hot. Before using it, I placed it in soapy hot water and hand washed the product. It is very easy to clean/wash and discovered that my coffee stays hot for over 5 hours. I rate the product with 4 stars because I am not crazy about the snap up gadget on the lid. I struggle to pop it up. I don't have issues with my hands/fingers. Maybe over time, as it gets used more and more, it will not be as difficult to snap it up. It's durable, doesn't leak and is affordable. If you are in the market for a new coffee tumbler, I recommend the Contigo (which translates to "With You" in Spanish) coffee tumbler. ... show more

Which is great unless you want a quick warming of cold liquid or quick cool down of hot liquid. Quality made and great look. I got black so it’d match everything. The capacity is great. The lid is high quality and seals well. I like the black color as well as I use it work and don't want something flashy on my work desk. The weight is fine. Even full it isn't too heavy. I have two small complaints. The first is that is that, while I can still hold it okay, it is a bit too big around. I have another contigo and it tapers slightly. I wish this one did or that it was slightly less round. My other complaint is the way the drink cap closes and opens. It is easy to close but a little annoying to open as you really have to push to get it to snap open. I didn't deduct for this though as I have knocked it over with it snapped closed and NOTHING came out. So I just view it being a little harder to open as the cost of having something that prevents everything from spilling out. ... show more
