The quality and finish is amazing! The instructions are confusing, but the machined plywood is very precise. As a retired machinist, I was pleasantly surprised when the back panels slid right into place. I had to stand it on end to install the final piece, the left side. It worked best to place the open end of the shelves up, then slide the corner of each shelf about 1/2” into the side left panel, then slide that panel onto the shelves. My lovely assistant helped. There were a few machining burrs (chips) that I scraped out of the grooves before assembly, but the quality of this shelf, when compared to the particle board that we are all used to, is next-level. I noticed a few very minor scratches in the finish. These would not be acceptable on a dining room table, but would happen within the first few uses of any book shelf. I am using the bins to store 8-1/2 by 11” paper for business projects, so the plastic bins will go out to my shop. ... show more

Very sturdy. Was expecting cheap wood. This is actually very solid wood. Instructions were a bit lacking at first but then I re-read it and it was understandable. Took me maybe an hour to assemble. Looks really nice and took care of all the clutter. Love how solid it is. Well worth the price.

I just moved back to Kindergarten this year and my new room didn’t have cubbies. These were very reasonably priced and good quality. They are working great for my class. The directions to put them together were terrible my husband said and he’s in construction. I was lucky to have him to assemble them so beware that he said it was difficult.
