The table is delivered in a flat pack and requires assembly. There are 4 parts... the tabletop, 2 assembled pairs of legs, and the crossbar support. Using the supplied screws and hex key, each leg (which is actually the two legs on each end of the table) are attached to the tabletop with 2 screws, and the support rail is attached with two screws per side. Assembly took less time that it took to remove the product from the protective packaging. The resulting table is level and stable. My only concern was that the table assembly did not include protective feet for each leg. Since I have hardwood floors, I prefer to have some kind of foot on the table to prevent scratching. I happened to have some adhesive felt that I trimmed and fit to each leg; problem solved. At this price point, I'm impressed with the table, and it will work perfectly behind my sofa. The overall construction reflects attention to detail. The table is perfect for my particular needs, and I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. ... show more

This is the perfectly proportioned table for the hallway; I keep flower vases and small baskets on it, but it could also be used as a small, say, writing desk conveniently placed in an in-between space. The black color makes it go with basically anything, so both the color and the size are perfectly unobtrusive. Assembly was extremely easy - only one type of screw to use ! - and was literally three steps to complete. This narrow bamboo wood based console table works well in small spaces as an entryway catch all or behind a small sofa. Bamboo wood is known for being durable and waterproof. It’s a decent length, almost 40” long and able to hold several vases, coasters or other decorative display items. The open area at the bottom allows for the placement of a narrow ottoman or baskets for storage. Very sturdy and simple to assemble. Instructions are well laid out in easy to follow steps. This is a nice entryway table, not too big or heavy but sturdy, simple, and looks great as well with the nice smooth Bamboo table top. Assemble was easy enough, however, there was a hole missing on one of the legs as shown in the attached picture, but it was no big deal. Took me less than a minute to drill a hole through so the bolt can be screwed onto the tabletop. Once tightened, it was quite stable.
