We were looking for a long sofa table but didn't want to spend a lot in case we didn't like the look. Instead of spending $1200+ at Pottery Barn we grabbed two of these shorter tables. Though they are easy to put together make sure you spend extra time lining up the frame to the top. There are no pre-drill holes in the "wood" top so you need to make sure you have it exactly where you want it before attaching the screws. Once together it is sturdy enough. They supply you with an allen tool and a screwdriver as well so no outside tools are needed. The top is not wood but some cheap, thinly laminated board that looks like it might peel over time. Our plan is to buy a long board of better quality, stain it like we want, then attach it to the two frames. Even not using the top that came with it the cost of the frames is not bad at all. But until then it looks good as is. ... show more

The picture shows the size, but I wish you could FEEL how truly terrible this table is. It is very light, very wobbly, very tippable, and very poorly made. Had I FELT this table like how you would at a home decor store, I never would have paid more than $15 for it. I had to go back and see how much I paid for this piece as I ordered many for my baby's playroom, and I was appalled at how much they are charging. It was easy to assemble, but the lines are squared and the screws will pop out of the particleboard like it was styrofoam because it's not lined up properly. The value for money is awful. This item had multiple issues, I don't recommend buying. The issues are: 1. The top wood is chipped. 2. The top does not sit flush with the metal supports. This leaves gaps making it look awful. This can be seen in my pictures. 3. There are no pre-made holes in the top for you to be able to screw in the metal supports. When attempting to screw the supports into the top, the screw just spins, even with immense pressure. Because of this, three of the screws will not stay in (they fall out when you stand it up) making it not very sturdy at all. ... show more

Save yourself right now and do not buy this. I honestly don't know how these people can keep selling crap like this and get away with it. You literally can not put it together. I am really good Nd fast at putting together furniture and this can not be put together. There are no pre drilled holes in the top but even if you pre drill them yourself there isn't enough wood to get it to hold together. This is a piss poor design and you are wasting your money if you buy this. ... show more

This sofa table was a great find. I purchased this table to use for small lunch or dinner dates at home. I also have a number of other double duty uses for it. After putting it together, it felt sturdy enough for my needs. I love how narrow it is. I recommend two people for this assembly. The packaging and instructions were easy to understand. The thing I didn't like was, the last step in the instructions. It shows attaching the table board to the bottom legs. There's black dots that represent pre-drilled holes in the board. However, there weren't any pre- drilled holes. I just used adhesive backed velcro on all four sides. It stuck to the top board nicely. ... show more

This took about ten minutes to assemble. And for the price will work great for what I need it for. I would only caution that you line up the top bars to the frame precisely, otherwise when you try to screw the wood board to the frame the screws strip trying to put them in. I had to readjust the placement in order to get the screws to stay in place ... show more

I ordered 2 of these to put behind my new couch. I have an iron radiator in an awkward part of the wall, so I bought 2 of these to place on that wall to prevent the couch from moving and giving us a space for lamps and cups or whatever. The quality matches the price. I didnt want to spend much since these wouldnt really be seen and we are moving in a few months and dont know if we will be able to bring them with us. They are very easy to put together, less than 10 minutes by myself. They are decent for the price, the wood is actually contact paper though I ordered 2 brown and received 1 brown and 1 oak. Which is why I gave 3 stars. i thought I would just stain the light one to match and learned it was a sticker. Checked them both and the dark one was already peeling and had part of the corner ripped off. ... show more
