There is a loud static noise coming from the left speaker. It's fine for a toddler. For the adult near by its a bit irritating when there is no music being played. This is for my granddaughter. We had similar pianos for our own kids and seemed to be better quality 15 years ago.

We want our 6 month old baby to be interested in music so we looked for a keyboard suitable for a very young child. This turned out to be a good purchase for that. The sound quality isn't amazing but it is fairly in tune and has lots of choices for what instrument sound to make, along with some pre-made drum beats. The keyboard and buttons are very responsive and it plays chords (it's not limited to one note sound at a time). The volume control lets you bring it down to a very manageable level, though the default is somewhat loud. It is sturdy enough, though admittedly he's not old enough to pick it up and bang it nor to bang very heavily on it. We'll see if it last to his toddler years. Overall, the price to quality ratio is very good. The only slight negative (irrelevant for a baby but if you have an actual piano learner on your hands could be a detriment) is that while you can record and play back a sample of yourself playing, you cannot also play the keyboard while the recording is playing. So you can't, for example, record one hand of a song and then play the other hand along with the recording or record the harmony and then play the melody along with it. We have not hooked the microphone to it so I can't say how it works.
