I have good hearing aids from Costco ( recommend Costco..name brands fitted at big discount) after being tested by ENT, audiologist, etc. They're fancier. Connects to smart phone, etc. Recently lost one outside after hours of using a leaf blower! No hope of finding. Had bought these a while back...just in case... I charged up one..cut the tubing to fit my ear and put it on. Didn't like it at first. Seemed too crude or primitive to my $2800.00 set. But it was my worst side that I lost, so figured better than nothing. Did a little fiddling around with it getting the volume right, then that middle button that controls noise and after a few days...I actually seem to like it ..maybe even think it's as good as than the expensive one. It's larger...but my hair covers it. Felt like it was to big to stay put behind my ear...but it wasn't. Stays right there. What a pleasant surprise! I might get the expensive ones in the future if my insurance starts covering the price better. I'd definitely recommend these! Just give yourself a few days to get the settings right and get used to them. I now wear the expensive one on one side and the Coniler on the other. I keep one charged up and wear the other for a week or so. Keeps a charge for a long time. Just charge them a couple of hours. Don't know if it would be ok to charge overnight or longer so not chancing it. But...very happy that I bought them! ... show more

At 74, I've been having trouble understanding audio on TV and on the phone. I've been looking at OTC hearing products for the last year, and they're priced from $20 to over $2K per set. Couldn't imagine a $50 pair could be any good, and have been very pleasantly surprised. These rechargeable units come with 6 different earpieces. I picked the smallest ones and they nestled in my ear canal comfortably (altho I'm not used to them and I get itchiness sometimes). But after finding the right volume (ultra low), they are helping me understand everything. Turning them up too high causes hissing. Sound profiles don't seem to make much difference to me. Great Value, although I intend to see an audiologist at the VA next month. Great value. Didn't expect them to work at all, so I'm quite happy with my purchase. Charging them is somewhat a pain as they provide only one charging cable, but I have plenty of them. I'd probably pay a bit more for a charging station that does them both at once. ... show more

I love that these look like air pods. The hearing in my right ear has been getting worse and it has been frustrating not being able to follow conversations. These were waiting for me when my son and I got back from a family trip, and I practically ran to open the box, charge them and try them out. PROS: They amplify very well. Connection with bluetooth on my phone was easy. I am able to hear every little word during a conversation!!!!!! I felt calmer talking with my husband and son, realizing how stressful it has been for me as I struggle to hear conversations over the years. CONS: I have found no significant way to lower or increase volume, and would like to have the amplification of sound quite a bit lower. And yes, I follow the instructions. It does have a hissing sound when all is quiet. Opening doors, drawers, and other sounds come through very loud. Even laying a piece of paper on the counter. ... show more

No customer support. Out of the 30 day return window by 4 days. Left earbud stopped charging so $135 dollars thrown away. DO NOT BUY. Feb 13th, Amazon Customer support put me in contact with Coniler and they are sending me an new pair.

The media could not be loaded. I am a 23 year old hearing impaired woman who needed a hearing aid desperately, but cant afford an audiologist/fitting/custom order rigamarole. What they do for my hearing: These hearing amplifiers seem to actually mimic real hearing aids in that they have 3 modes that cover ranges of sound, similar to other amplifiers, but also seeming to selectively enhance sounds while minimizing background noise, unlike other amplifiers i have tried. There is also very little static or feedback from this amplifier, vs other amplifiers i have tried that had more noticeable static. Appearance: It is comfortable to wear and nearly INVISIBLE which is a huge plus because hiding the aid with hair or hat diminishes its effectiveness. Assembly: It is easy to put together, you just cut the tube to length and it stays on firmly, as in the video. Operation: The volume slider is a little stiff, and near the microphone so it will give feedback if you go at it too firmly. The mode shift button beeps once, twice, and three times to indicate which mode. The power switch moves smoothly. These take micro USB chargers which is awesome because buying lots of batteries is an ongoing expense i dont need. Just be careful not to charge it overnight or for too long or the battery will wear down. Swag: Comes with manual, case, 2 ft charging cord+wall block, extra tubes, multiple sizes and styles of earbuds. I only wear one at a time but ordered two. It only cost me 1/10 of what an audiologist prescribed hearing aid would have. Overall, this is a 9.5/10. Only thing that could be better would be if it had a smoother volume adjuster. ... show more

After few days of using, one of the ear buds won’t connect as bluetooth. As hearing aids, sounds quality is bad, delayed amplification of voice sounds like echoes. No sound level adjustment at hearing mode. Switching between hearing aids and bluetooth modes is nice.
