  • It works as advertised
Used on an eight foot vertical crack on my basement’s foundation. I was experiencing a significant pooling of water from the crack from just about any moderate rain fall. Used the crack repair last week prior to The arrival of a Nor’Easter. Basement stayed completely dry, no leaks. In the last 24 hours we probably have had an additional 2-3” of rainfall (which prior to the completing the repair would’ve required me filling my 9 gal wet/dry vac Multiple times to contain the water) and still no water from the crack. I am very happy with Mar-Flex right now. Definitely would buy this kit again. ... show more

  • Straight forward instructions and generally easy to use
Straight forward instructions and generally easy to use. Worked like a champ. I have one major gripe about the tip attachment. It fell off in the middle of the job which made things more difficult, and should be redesigned to screw (not snap) on. That way it is far easier to install. I thought I had used enough force to snap the tip onto the flexible hose, but was clearly mistaken. That design choice (problem) not withstanding the product itself is terrific and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is willing to DIY as it is far cheaper than calling in a company/shop that will charge you 3-5 times the cost of this useful product. Thank you. ... show more

  • NOTICE: Read This Before Mixing Epoxy!
This is a great product, in my opinion, but you need to ignore one of their instructions. DO NOT mix 1/3 of the epoxy material, as you will never have time to use it! It will dry faster than you can apply it to all of the injection ports. Mix about two tablespoons of each (white & black), then mix together, and you will have time to apply to the wall. Now, lets get to the rest. I had a 7 foot long wall crack. It took the full set of epoxy paste to cover as shown. But, I only used one tube of the sealer. I waited just under 4 hours after applying the epoxy to start the injection process. Used the enclosed squeeze bottle to squirt water through the tube into the top injection port. Water started coming out one or more ports (as intended). When that happened, I put a cap on that port, and continued squirting water until I had it coming out of all the ports. Next, I did the sealer injection, starting at the bottom port. Sure enough, it started to come out of the port above it. and when it did, I capped the port being used and inserted the connector to the port above. I did this for all of them. At the top port, the sealer then overflowed above the epoxy and came down the side. I can clean that up after it dries. They give you the wire brush and a nice pair of goggles, along with two sets of gloves. High praise for all that. They only lost a star because of mixing instructions that will leave you out of enough epoxy as the mixed batch will become unusable before you are finished spreading it. It is a messy process, so wear old clothes. I did not get anything on mine, but it can happen. In the pictures, one shows the epoxy and ports before injecting the water and sealer. The other shows the process. In one of them, you can see the overflow polyurethane. It expands after it mixes with the water that you add at the start. ... show more

  • Really Works!
Easy to apply and effective method to stop water leaks due to cracked poured concrete walls. Just follow the instructions that come with this kit and you will save hundreds of dollars by doing it yourself. I repaired two cracks that were leaking water each time it rained and nine months later they are both 100% sealed and have never let even one drop into my basement. A professional quoted me a price of $1300 to do the same thing. Believe me, you can do this. Really! ... show more

  • Unknown Return!
I will not know how well it worked until there is a large amount of rain in a short period

  • Worked surprisingly well!
I very much liked the idea of this product but was extremely concerned it wouldn't work well with the crack in our basement as it had already been partly rectified by the previous owner, although not successfully and actually made access to the crack worse. However, the injection actually went very well, almost text book, and after one winter and spring has been 100% successful! We couldn't get the seal off the wall afterwards but to be honest it really doesn't matter as it's in an out of the way place and I haven't tried THAT hard either. Would totally recommend. Just be quick with applying the seal as it firmed up much faster than I expected and got a little messy but it did the job and as long as you inject very slowly, as directed, it will likely do a great job! ... show more

  • Didn't work for me, but...
Perhaps it was due to my particular situation, however this kit did not work at all. The epoxy did not completely seal thus the polyeurithane product did not seap into the crack as it should have. For me, I lost $130, however I gained a lesson.

  • Worked perfectly for my application.
Had a tiny crack running 4ft up the garage wall which allowed rain to seep into the garage. This product sealed that crack and has not leaked a drop. Go slow for the best results. Saved me hundreds by not having to hire somebody to do it.
