Musicians and home producers listen up! I’ve gone through multiple desks trying to find what would be conducive to my workflow. (Ive been home producing for about 12 years) I’ve always wanted to get a desk that I could have my keyboard and mouse in an ergonomic spot as well as having my midi keyboard available in front of me as well. Up until now you had to spend a good amount of money or DIY it. And honestly I have the parts to do a DIY in my garage and it was going to either be this, or an output platform. Because of the price point on this I obviously figured to start here. I can tell you I am incredibly impressed at the price for what it is. I’m an averagely tall guy 6’0” so I always worry about leg room and comfort there (especially when a keyboard tray is involved) and this is the first desk that actually lets me sit ergonomically as well as keep my monitor low enough not to strain my shoulders. The construction is actually pretty solid, the laminate looks actually way better than I expected, but it has a lot of leg room and is comfortable to sit at. The instructions lack a little bit - so REALLY read them through to make sure your hole placement ends up correct for your cross bar or you’ll be back peddling. Not much else to say though, I’m stoked to see such an awesome and inexpensive option come about that finally fit my needs. Hope this helps any that was in my position. Cheers. ... show more

I received the black 55 in. desk with no damage and in a timely manner. Instructions were clear and stepped out nicely in numerical order. I noticed one end cap and its adjustable leg was missing on one of the legs bottom. Not a major problem and a missing part occurs every so often during the manufacturing / production process. I improvised a temporary fix by using a small plastic cap underneath the leg until I could possibly find more of a specific part. I contacted the customer service email printed on the carton to see if I would get a response. I was apprehensive if I’d get a response having negative experiences in the past when attempting to reach a customer service dept. from the manufacturer. But I received a reply within 1 day from a most pleasant customer service support person. I asked if they could send me the missing end cap w/ adjustable foot however, they indicated this part may not be available for some time. They offered a full refund or to send me an entire new desk at no charge. It will be a different color than what I ordered because black was out of stock at the time but the metal legs are black with all of the colors they have. So I can use the missing part (if it can be removed easily) on my black desk and have another entire desk to use once I find some type of end cap / adjustable foot to use with it. If need be I will use the whole one leg assembly on the black one. The desk is sturdy and glad I made this purchase. Love this desk..might get another one. Arrived a day early. Packaged well to protect product. Came with all tools necessary to assemble and easy to read and follow instructions. All parts were bagged separately and labelled for instruction reference. I put it together by myself, at a leisurely pace, in about an hour and a half. Would have been faster but I decided to switch sides with the shelving. Once assembled, looks great and very sturdy. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

First, the few negatives - this desk takes a while to put together and while all the parts are well made and it’s not difficult, it does very much take some time. Worse, while the parts were all bagged and labeled, on my example at least, some of the parts were not in the bags that corresponded to the part labels in the instructions. They were there, just not where they should have been for easiest assembly. Also, once assembled there is a LOT of packaging materials to dispose of, both cardboard and styrofoam, which makes a mess when cutting or breaking up to bag and dispose of. This desk is not unique in this regard, but it’s something to consider. Having said that, the positives far outweig the negatives. The main table surface was not only pre-drilled with all the proper holes, many of the holes have plastic inserts so there is no risk of over-tightening a screw and stripping the threads out of the MDF panels. Once assembled, the desk is very solid and stable and has plenty of surface area for work or play. The main CPU self is plenty large enough for my mid-tower MSI Z590-based gaming PC to sit on, elevated by several inches from the floor (and away from carpet dust, static electricity and pet hair), with plenty of volume above the case for top-mounted case fans to provide good airflow. The side-mounted hooks are good for headphones, extension USB cables for controllers and accessory devices, etc. Finally, the main desk surface is solid, smooth and looks good in a contemporary way. It is thick and sturdy enough for my metal monitor post-mount to clamp to and hold my 32” 1440p monitor with complete stability, and to secure my flight simulator control yoke to clamp onto over the keyboard tray firmly and solidly. I love the desk and how easy it was to assemble. I was a little skeptical about buying the desk due to the lack of comments and reviews on the desk but it had everything I wanted and gave it a shot. I am not disappointed by any means. I am extremely happy with the legroom, space, and overall quality of the desk.
