My daughter has been talking about a Penny board for a while and I had no idea what she was referring to. Well, she found this on Amazon and insisted I get it for her and I have to say it's pretty neat. The media could not be loaded. I am blown away by the quality of this board. It's way beyond any of the ones I've owned before. It feels at least as good as a real Penny board. It flexes just enough in the middle (cheaper ones will almost bottom out). Everything is made well and looks great. I hate when the board is wrapped in cellophane but has the trucks and hardware put on after. You'll have to take the trucks off to get all the cellophane bits off. I was going to also suggest loosening the wheels a half turn so that they'll roll better, but I found out doing this makes the LED lights not light up! You can watch my video displaying this. Something cool you can do with these is taking a broken skateboard deck and using a jig saw to cut out your own board shape. I've done this and traveled the world with it in my backpack. They work great for it. Overall, this thing is great and I'd definitely recommend it. ... show more

Straight out of the box, my six-year-old thought this was a scooter to sit on. Once my husband showed him what it was actually for, he had a great time with it. He's terrible at it so far, but still loves it. The light up wheels are his favorite part. We've had terrible weather so we've only been able to use it in the garage. I like that the wheels have a bit of tension and it takes some effort to spin them. This is a nice old school skateboard, but definitely for beginners. The trucks and wheels seem decent, though I thought the wheels would spin more freely. No truck tool was provided to adjust the truck or wheels. The plastic deck is fairly rigid. I measured 5.5 inches at the widest point, not 6 inches. As stated in the product description, the length is 22". The wheels are fairly soft. I do think at $39.99, this board is a little pricy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This board is super fun! The wheels light up and it’s great for children. My only complaint is that the wheels were way too tight on arrival so they wouldn’t roll. They were easy to loosen up though. My kid loves this thing.

My 5 year old is learning to skate and didn’t like that dad’s board was bigger than his. So I got my husband this penny board so he could be twins with my son. My son was stoked! Then he saw dad’s wheels light up and they swapped boards lol. Holds my husband fine, he’s close to 200 pounds. Hate the plastic wrap being under the trucks…uugghhh, what a pain!
