This UV Camera works exactly as expected! I was worried about spending the money on it, but I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve had it for over 2 weeks, and I haven’t had any issues. It came fully charged, and it still has majority of its battery life left (there’s a handy icon to show how much battery life it has). It came with a charging cord (and two other cords). I’ve been using it 3-4x a day to check on my sunscreen coverage. It’s great for that, and it’s also great to use while applying sunscreen to check for missed spots. I noticed I was often missing spots near my eyes! Not anymore thanks to this camera. It’s easier to see the screen indoors. In the sun it was nearly impossible to see because the UV light isn’t able to reach as far, but that’s not an issue for me. Id highly recommend this UV Camera! I didn’t like the design of the other white, round cameras but I’m sure they work just as well, but this specific camera feels sturdy, not cheap or flimsy. It fits perfectly in my purse. It’s a little thicker than my phone, but not as tall. The mirror on top is a nice addition. I have nothing negative to say! If you’re concerned about your sunscreen coverage throughout the day, I highly recommend this camera.

I ordered this UV mirror from Amazon USA, because I could not find a decent sized UV mirror in Europe (Amazon or otherwise). Hence, 25% of the total costs were shipping costs and import duties. The UV mirror is great. You press the switch at the side and the screen, UV light and UV camera switch ON, so you can see your face in the UV spectrum. I used it to check whether I had applied sunblock on my face, neck and ears. Unfortunately, my UV mirror stopped working. Curley offered a replacement, but I declined, since the EU would have charged another almost EUR 30. I will order another UV mirror during a trip to the USA. Thanks for your great support Curley!

This thing is CRAZYYYYYYYY!!! I’ve only had it for 30 seconds, but, it really shows how affective your sunscreen application is!!! It has a tight view angle. You have to look at the screen head on to see anything. I will definitely be using more sunscreen because of this product.

Ok, it’s science, but still feels kinda *whoa*. Tl;dr - As someone who tans swiftly, it kinda works, but the contrast isn’t high enough for me. Otherwise, it feels well constructed. I’m East Asian, tan very easily, but am currently not tan at all. In the UV camera, my face looks CONSIDERABLY darker (which I’m assuming means natural force field, not imminent skin damage). Initially with a big glob, sunscreen shows up completely black, but after spreading it around, it’s a little difficult to differentiate what’s been covered or not - it’s not black and white, but dark grey and kinda darker grey. Tried both mineral and chemical sunscreens, with little noticeable difference in appearance. Trying to get just the right angle and distance/lighting kinda helps. One concern is if you shine the UV light at the included test card, it darkens really quick, so it may be a good idea to limit how much you use this - i.e. don’t stare at the light excessively. There aren’t any warnings in the current directions, but it feels like there should be. Size feels roughly similar to two iPhone 5’s stacked, without cases. Feels well built of nice materials. Note that there’s a protective film on all 4 surfaces. The exterior ones have a matte finish and could easily be left on if preferred - the pull tab is very unobtrusive. Probably want to remove the one on the mirror though for a clearer image. Also noteworthy is if you have veneers (and maybe other dental work), they show up very clearly with the UV cam.

I’ve seen these before, but I like that this one can also be used as a portable charger. It has a dual function, so I liked that aspect of it. It’s a little awkward to hold the mirror in a way that you can see your face clearly. I suggest lookin tag your face before sunscreen and then after so you can see the difference. If you just look at it with no sunscreen, you will still appear dark in the mirror. After applying the sunscreen you can see just how much darker you will appear. I do wonder how effective this is for darker skinned people. This really helps you see where you have applied enmity sunscreen and where you haven’t. Very important to pay attention to when our in severe sun for a prolonged period of time.

I was skeptical about this product at first, especially at this price point. But once I tried it, I became obsessed! The device is about the size of a small smartphone, and has a normal mirror on one side, with a uv camera and screen on the other side. Looking in the camera, you can see all your sun damage, which is more than the naked eye can see. When using this to help apply sunscreen evenly, the sunscreen shows up dark black. It's very easy to see where you have or haven't put sunscreen, and there are many areas I missed when I thought I got my whole face/neck. It's also handy because you can see when your sunscreen has worn off and it's time to reapply. I showed this to my mom and she was also very impressed! I want to get a second one so I can keep it in my car for touch ups on the go. This is a great tool for anyone skincare conscious or concerned about sun damage to or preventing skin cancer. It would also make a great gift. I'm glad I found this, and would order it again!
