This ice maker is exactly what I needed. The size works great for my garage space and ice capacity fits my need for small 6 to 8 people party. My fridge ice maker will never make this much ice. It does make some noise but acceptable, I basically dont hear anything since i out it the garage. The installation takes a little time becuase it requires some plumbing experience. Please hire a professional if you need.

This ice maker is a great choice for producing a steady supply of ice without the bulk or cost of larger commercial units. With a 100 lbs per day production capacity and 34 lbs of storage, it works well in small restaurants, bars, or home setups. The machine operates quietly, and the ice cubes are solid and well-formed. Installation requires connecting to a cold water supply and setting up a drain for the storage bin. If no direct drain is available, an ejector pump (similar to a condensate pump used for A/C systems) can be used. Depending on the setup, additional plumbing parts may be needed, so a trip to the hardware store may be necessary. If plumbing is unfamiliar, hiring a professional is recommended. My installation involves using the garden hose for water. FYI: Use a garden hose rated for potable water similar to hoses for RV motorhomes. My drain spills into the grass. Since it is part of another portable system, it is easy to keep water supplied and ensure water is always available before operating. Indoors, I have a spot to wheel it so it can run indoors, too. Once installed, the machine makes ice within 10 to 15 minutes of startup. The compact footprint makes fitting into a garage, restaurant, or bar space easy. However, the storage capacity may not always match the advertised amount, and the manual lacks clarity, especially regarding ice cube size adjustments. For the price, this unit provides solid performance compared to larger commercial ice makers. While installation requires some effort, build quality could be slightly improved, and it delivers consistent ice production without taking up excessive space. If a steady supply of ice is needed and setup is not an issue, this machine is a practical and efficient option.

If you actually want to hook it up you will need to buy more parts that fit your fixtures. It in no way fits to a hose or will hold the stated amount of ice. Buyer beware, plus if you want to ship it back you pay to return it. Do not buy

We bought this as a backup to our bigger ice machine at our restaurant. It is an great ice marker for the price. the unit installed super easy. The machine is not noisy when making ice. The ice cubes are solid. I will recommend this machine.

We bought this as a backup to our bigger ice machine at our motel. Just had to shut down the main ice machine for service and only had this unit up and running. It does its job. Makes ice relatively quick in a non-air conditioned room in summer and very low noise too. Had it running 3 days straight and it did not skip a beat. Packaged well and feels well made. I will recommend this machine.
