I was able to assemble this in a total span of about 8 hours (as someone who doesn't regularly assemble things) split into 2 after-work sessions of putting things together. I took a cursory look through the manual before starting but didn't look too far in. After putting the whole thing together, I can tell you that on the shelves and "baffle board" (I believe they used the wrong word to describe the back panel on the desk-level shelf), there are embedded cam locks. On the shelves, you obviously want it to face downwards. But the back panel, I accidentally faced the embedded cam locks into view when it was already too late. I'm not disassembling the whole thing to fix a small mistake I made, but I can warn you: RTFM and look at what you're doing each step of the way. If it doesn't look good, adjust it (unless the manual specifies otherwise)

This desk is being used by a 13yo. He loves it. It was relatively easy to put together although we did get one shelf backwards and had to fix it so it fit the groove properly. The top shelves are sturdy enough to hold knick-knacks but not books.

It fits my needs even though i had to take off the top shelf due to my tower being huge! I put it on the second shelf because we dont like the towers close to the floor. ASSEMBLY: The screwdriver provided does not fit pieces "E" and "F". I had to hunt down one that did fit. also the main horizontal support beams for the desk are not symmetrical like the instructions show. You need to put the smaller "hole-to-end" spacing towards the shelves or the desk itself will not line up with the holes on the supports. I am fully enjoying this desk. It fits my two bulky monitors and i have space to put a few consoles as well.

for the most part, the desk is pretty ergonomic. assembly is a little rough, make sure you are paying very close attention to the instructions, also bring a hammer. you'll need it for how tight some of those fits are

I love this desk smmmm!! I was hoping to put my pc tower on the shelves but unfortunately it’s too tall by like one inch</3 regardless it is so perfect. I had to get some help to build it so make sure u find one or two ppl to help u build it. The desk is rlly good quality and so far can support quite a bit. I love it sm I think its perfect! Also for those of you who would like to know, u can have the bookshelf on either the right or the left side and there’s different instructions for both ways to build it! :D
