Based on the reviews I saw of the comforter being too small, I bought the California King comforter set. I have a Queen bed with a deep/tall mattress. When I buy sheets I get the 16 to 21 inch deep pocket sheets to fit the mattress. The California King comforter fit nicely hanging down on either side enough to fully cover the mattress. If you have a regular height mattress I would say go with the “true to size” comforter. Obviously the bed skirt was too big but I just tucked it under the mattress and you’d never know. I was a bit nervous the comforter wasn’t going to be warm enough as it’s not super thick. I get very cold easily. But it definitely is more than enough. I’ve had it on my bed for over a week and I’ve not gotten cold once. The only negative I could see for some people is that the top of the comforter is almost like a sleeping bag texture. But for me it’s been perfect. I have 5 small dogs that sleep in bed with me and their fur doesn’t stick to the comforter like the last one I had that was a cotton blend. The pillow cases are a king size and fit great. I was able to stuff the two square shams each with 2 standard pillows and they look great! The two smaller decorative pillows are very pretty as well. Over all this set exceeded my expectations. Especially since I only paid $45 as it was a “opened, like new” discount. (I always wash anything before it goes on my bed or body anyway.) ... show more

Great coverage, some comforters are not long enough on the sides. The two pillows that are in the package are smaller than they seem online. Very flat even after air fluffed in dryer, maybe over time they'll puff up. Color is good and the pattern seems sharper online, but is almost a blury version of it, works either way. I suggest cool iron to the bed skirt before putting under mattress, as it is very crushed wrinkly. Only had it a few days, so we shall see how it holds up. ... show more

Of the three comforter sets I recently purchased, this one is my favorite! It was the least expensive, least formal, and held my least expectations, so I am happily surprised! I ordered the Mona Grey/Teal King size for our Queen size bed. The colors were exactly as pictured and gave the room just enough pop without being overwhelming, and the larger size worked perfectly on our adjustable bed. That alone would be enough to make me happy, but the softness of this comforter is what tops the chart! It's that cozy, comfy feeling that makes you want to snuggle in. This is a beautiful design and I do really like it. I've been sleeping in it for almost a month and for the most part I do like it. But maybe because the color matches so well with my room. I knew it was light, but I think it may be too light as my room can get pretty cold during the winter. I have a couple blankets, but still feel cold, which means this may be perfect for the summer, but if you're like me and get cold easily or hate being cold this may not be for you. Unless you have a ton of warm blankets! The only other remark is because it is so light it moves around a lot based on how you sleep. Overall, I am happy with the product especially its beautiful design and color...just wish it was just a tad bit thicker. ... show more

This is a really nice comforter set. The one I ordered is blue and light green paisley, and the colors are very pretty and calming. It's not too heavy or too light in terms of thickness. It has a slight sheen to it but is not what I'd call "shiny". We ordered the California King for our king size bed since I'd seen some reviews that this runs small, and that size worked well for our bed. The decorative pillows that it comes with are nice, although quite small. The comforter was vacuum sealed for shipment so it's very wrinkly, but I think the wrinkles will smooth out over time. Overall, this is a great comforter set for the price and the blue/green color combo is very pretty. If you're looking for a nice set and don't want to pay a fortune, this is a good option. ... show more
