    • Surprisingly nice for the price
Overall I'm super pleased with this purchase. I ordered the queen comforter in paisley wheat. The colors are pretty and have a goldy looking yellow, light grey, white and brown in the pattern. The quality of the comforter is really nice, it has an expensive feel to it, considering I only paid $33.36 for the set. The sheets are surprisingly soft after being washed, a little thin, but look like they'll hold up ok (100% polyester). The pocket for the fitted sheet was way too big for my mattress, but I just added some sheet stays and that will work fine. The flat sheet was extremely long, like I think I tucked almost 2 feet into the bottom of the mattress, but the width is normal. My biggest gripe, and again i really can't complain because it was inexpensive, are the pillow shams. They feel and look cheap, AND they are standard size instead of queen/king size (the sheet set included 4 larger pillow cases). The 1.5" edging around the sham is really thin material and just kind of flops over and looks messy. Standard pillows barely fit in them and the size makes it look odd on the bed and the pocket that you tuck over the end of the pillow does absolutely nothing to contain it. That being said, would I buy it again? Absolutely. I liked everything about this set except for the pillow shams and I can just get a solid color that's a better quality and the correct size. I got this on sale for less than $33 with tax. 8 piece bed in a bag and came with nice sheets with pockets, 6 pillow cases, and worth it. Best deal on bedding I've ever found on Amazon. Love the design, although it's a little polyester feeling not cotton, it looks beautiful and good purchase for the price. ... show more

Unfortunately, I had not read the previous reviews on this set or I probably would not be here now. I know many of you immediately didn't like the texture, while others faced the same issue as I did. I actually loved the set, especially the pockets on the side of the fitted sheet. I washed the comforter ONCE per washing instructions and find the comforter is coming apart at the seam and growing daily! Basically, unless you are just using it for "show", like staging a house for sale, DO NOT BUY. Less than 2 months after I purchased the set, the comforter came apart. Thankfully Amazon made it right, but I still have to go find a new comforter set for my bedroom now. Bummer. ... show more
