    • Color Distinction in the Orange Range Is Not Quite Distinct

I've purchased a number of Comfort Colors shirts. They are well made, fit well and are comfortable. One of the reasons I keep buying them is they have a wide variety of colors. Unfortunately when it comes to colors in the orange/pink spectrum, I've found that the distinction between Bright Salmon, Watermelon, and Red-Orange (for example) is not as sharp as I would like or as the marketing photos seem to depict. It may, of course, be a flaw in my ability to discern colors, but I think not. I've pretty well exhausted all the available selections in that range of colors so I won't be having the problem in the future, but it may be something you wish to consider. It tends to occur most prominently with colors that run to red rather than yellow. They are still fine shirts for the money and so I don't regret the purchases. ... show more

Size: Large Color: Mustard
I dig these shirts. I have dozens of them. Long sleeve, short sleeve, sleeves cut out... I layer them in three sizes. The most snug size as a dress undershirt. The 'middle' size I wear by itself, no outer shirt. The largest is a great 2nd or 3rd layer when it's cold. They're soft. The outer surface can be a bit "snaggy" if you layer it with coarse sweaters. It just means a few extra seconds straightening out the shoulders as you layer several shirts. Colors will fade nicely and deliberately. Expect it to look casual.     • Nice shirts, but "sandstone" is green.
Size: Large Color: Sandstone
I love these shirts. They are soft, wear like iron, and don't shrink. But the "sandstone" color I just bought has a decidedly green cast to it and is not usable as beige/sand/khaki. It goes with greens.
