Love these shirts. Easy to clean & dry especially for traveling. Doesn't wrinkle. I bought a size larger than I normally wear. Absorbs sweat very well. Softness is good. I travel often & these shirts works great for me. In fact I like it so much I bought 6 other colors.

I adore these cool, trim-looking shirts. I own at least seven and am rarely out of them in the summer. I've even slept in them on train trips and when camping. The black is a dark, saturated color -- subtle and flattering. Here are a few notes or quibbles about these buttery, light-as-air shirts. *I wish the brand tag wasn't so obtrusive, or better yet, not visible. I feel the tag stands out the worst against these black shirts. If this top wasn't branded, I would also make them my office uniform in a heart beat. As is, I sometimes wear under cardigans, but the sweater has to be heavy enough that the tag on front doesn't show through. I've toyed with the idea of removing it using a seam ripper, but haven't been brave enough (or found a cheap enough shirt) to risk trying it yet. I'm not sure the fine (though durable) material would withstand the removal without showing holes/pricks. *I adore the snap buttons. The fact that they match the shirt is part of what makes the shirt so trim/streamlined IMO. I wish that I had discovered these shirts (assuming they existed then) when I was nursing my kids. However, I would caution those purchasing for this use that the snaps come open VERY easily. Handy when sporting an infant in one arm and un-buttoning with another, but probably not ideal when nursing older babies or toddlers who like to tug clothing while they sup. A firm grab in the right spot can tear the shirt right open. However, if paired with enough confidence or a nursing cami, these would be a great toddler/older baby nursing option as well. *I wish that the length was longer, verging into CYA territory. Please, please, please. I in insist that my front and rear are comfortably covered when wearing with leggings/athletic tights, so making these shirts longer would allow me to wear them with all types of bottoms. *Strangely, I need a M in the sleeveless version and a L in the short and long-sleeved versions. No idea why, but I know it's not just me because I've seen other reviews reflecting this difference.     • Womens Columbia Tamiami Long Sleeve Vented Shirt
This shirt was one that I have wanted a long time for motorcycle riding in the hot desert sun. It has a UPF of 40 so it protects against the hot, harsh sun. It also has that quick dry fabric which is awesome as I plan to bring this to Ireland where the humidity can be rough on me. I bought the Clear blue color and I love it- its not TOO bright a blue. The construction of the shirt seems well made. The fabric is light in weight. The snaps which close the shirt and the cuffs is made of plastic which surprised me at first but they feel sturdy enough-only time will tell how they hold up. One thing I did notice that was not mentioned in the description- this shirt s that the collar points are actually secured down with Velcro ( although if used a lot the Velcro will rip off very quickly-they could be sewn better) . This is very handy for motorcycle riding no more flapping in the wind! This shirt does NOT have front pockets-yay for us girls! The length seems perfect-falling below the butt line. The shirt is vented in back and held down by a-another great feature for those of us sensitive to hot flashes or have heat sensitivity. The shirt has 2 inside side pockets (the sturdy zippers are well hidden too!) and are made of open mesh material inside. While these are fairly large in size,- 7x9 inches, I think the mesh would not support a whole lot of weight. The inside back of the shirt also has mesh surrounding the length of the vent, from neck to vent and shoulder to shoulder so you get lots of air movement. The outside back has a logo patch that secures the vent down to prevent it from flapping around. I hope and pray this shirt is everything I need for a 7 week trip to Ireland and Scotland, as I needed a vented, sun protected long sleeve top that would wash easily, be wrinkle free (or just a wee bit wrinkled would be ok).and dry quickly in the very likely case that I'll be doing laundry in the room sink! I generally wear a size 2x and this seems to fit exactly right. However, I also plan to wear a long and/or short sleeve tshirts under this as a layer if needed-and it could be a bit snug for me. I like LOTS of moving room. Most people would probably be fine with it as it really is a size 2x. I do NOT like that while the shirt itself is colored, the copious amounts of mesh lining is ALL white-so if I wear as a layer, it is very obvious and I really don't like that. I wish it was the same color as the shirt. Hope this helps someone! ... show more
