install a work insole and these things are solid for 6 months, install another..good for 6 more months then replace. These used heavy duty, work long hard hours and take the abuse. Now, if this particular name of it isn't 3 years old, there's one with orange instead of yellow I used as the first I'd ever tried. Went from buying work boots 3 times a year to just once. I bought these shoes for the waterproof feature but I recently purchased two other pairs of Sketchers with relaxed fit so that was a selling point for these shoes as well. These are the worst pair of shoes I have owned. For these being a hiker I can't imagine someone wearing them for more than an hour. I've been working doing outside work walking on dirt, rocks and grass and my feet are killing at the end of my workday. I thought with memory foam insole these shoes would cushion my feet. This for the Sketchers Waterprrof hiking boot. Boot is well-made and arrived brand new. Purchased to do the heavy work around the home. These do not leak even while stepping in wet lawn puddles. I bought a 10.5 and the size was perfect for my foot.

Husband is very happy with how these shoes fit him. He says that the shoe overall is great however the memory foam is pretty much non existent. It is a super thin at best. He had to put his own inserts in. He’s been breaking them in at work before our hiking trip and I’ll update if needed.
