UPDATE: These were awesome for my hike! We had to go through puddles and even a stream during this hike and the water just rolled right off of these boots. I didn’t feel a thing, not even a temperature change. It was so cool. These boots gripped like a champ and it’s a good thing I had them because we did a fair amount of climbing too, which I wasn’t anticipating beforehand. Excellent boots! These boots look and fit great! I normally wear a size 10, so I ordered that size, but they felt tight around my toes/top of my foot, so I returned and sized up to 10.5 and they are perfect! Very comfortable and I’m excited to use them for my first hike coming up. This size happened to be on sale for $25 too so I really lucked out. Might buy another pair. They seem to be great quality and the leather looks really nice. Purple on the bottom was a nice surprise too. I will update after the hike about durability and grip. ... show more

I couldn't be happier with these. I took a chance buying these a couple months ago for a camping / light hiking trip. I was afraid they'd be the wrong fit for hiking. I normally wear a size 10 or 10Wide sometimes. These are very comfy, not loose and not tight. They provide lots of cushion and support while keeping my ankles stable. I actually wear them all the time now to walk the dogs and such. They're warm too, I wore them to my Church's trunk or treat this year where it gets pretty chilly for a couple hours outside. They kept my feet warm and comfy.i would buy them again in a heart beat. Not a bad price for such comfy hiking shoes. If you're a long distance hiker and really hard on your boots I imagine they would wear out a lot sooner since they're not leather. They're a Faux leather plastic vinyl. Again not a bad price point for someone like me that hikes a couple times a year and mostly walks her dogs lol. ... show more

These boots were comfortable, felt well manufactured, looked good. The only reason I returned was because of sizing. I bought a 10.5 but if I had listened to the reviews & bought my usual 10 they would have fit perfectly. They were just too long and unfortunately by the time I went to order the smaller size the sale price was over. They felt secure on, the tread was substantial and grippy, they did not make my large foot look gigantic. Ordered my usual size from another seller still offering a lower price. ... show more

My wife uses these mostly to ride her motorcycle. They never came untied during a two day motorcycle course. The boots were extremely comfortable. Her feet were warm the entire time. Because they are hiking boots, she says they are a little stiff on the brakes and clutch. She has never actually hiked in them, but they are great for her motorcycle rides. Comfortable right out of the box—no breaking in needed! I put them on to break them in before my trip to Iceland and ended up wearing them for more than 6 hours. In Iceland I averaged 15k+ steps a day on everything from city streets to rugged terrain, and they never let me down. They’re lightweight and waterproof—just don’t let the water run over the sides like I did (LOL). Even then, they dried out overnight once I opened them up and let the air circulate. Excellent hiking and fast walking shoes. I average 4 to 6 miles a day five days a week fast walking. I have only bought these hiking shoes one month ago and already put 100 miles on them in a month. No blisters and very comfortable and easy on my feet. I really like the way it also gives me stronger support around my ankles. I bought more of them for the future. Really nice boots, they are comfortable and secure. Sizing is true to size. The brown color is also really nice it pairs well with jeans or snow pants. I bought for my Tahoe trip and the boots did just fine in 2-3 inch snow. They are also lightweight very impressive.
