The media could not be loaded. I bought these boots for a summer camp trip, and I haven’t gone on the trip yet but I’ve worn them all day for a few days and they’re super comfortable. I noticed the toe crease across the top of the foot that some people mentioned, but it hasn’t been a big deal to me, especially with thick socks. They’re lightweight, warm and cute too. Perfect for me. I bought the brown ones in a size 7.5 which is my normal size. I have wide feet and they fit perfectly! Definitely recommend. Colombia is a good brand. ... show more

I originally ordered these in my regular size because most reviews indicated they ran true to size. The 10's were snug in the toe for me, even with thinner socks. I immediately exchanged for a 10.5, and my replacements arrived the very next day. These fit perfectly, and allow for my my foot cusions and arch supports. You can adjust the tightness or loosen the fit easily with the long ties and hooks. There is even room for a ticket boot sock, if needed. They are very comfortable, no breaking in needed! I took a short hike in the neighborhood and there was no sliding or rubbing. My ankles feel much better supported, which I appreciate due to a wonky knee and a tricky sciatic nerve. I initially bought this shoe in my usual size. It was tight, squeezing all my toes together and hurt after taking a few steps. So, I returned those for half size up and wide (hoping my toes wouldn't get squeezed and hurt). These turned out perfect. My toes no longer got squeezed, I just happened to be traveling to CO, PA, and MO so decided to bring and break-in as these shoes were bought for trip to Iceland later this year. I tromped thru the snow in CO, with no water leaks (socks perfectly dry). Shoes were little stiff but by the time I got to MO, I was tromping thru farmland all day in total comfort. Shoes were comfortable thru mud, puddles, uneven/unpaved ground thru little stones, sticks, and all else in the woods. I will definitely be taking these to Iceland. This boot is true to size... I originally followed other reviews that suggested to go a half size up. WRONG move for me. I then exchanged it for my true size, and the length was perfect. After using it for some time, this shoe is comfortable and of good quality. Traction is really good; seams are well stitched (double-stitched); colors are stylish. So far as being waterproof-- I was in a little but of rain, it held watertight. (But I wasn't able to test it through streams or puddles, yet.) Note 1: I did swap out the sole for one with an arch support-- as that makes a huge difference in my hikes. I do thisbfor all my shoes... Note 2: The ankles are extra-padded. It looks a bit bulky at first, but I know they'll flatten a bit-- and they're meant to protect my ankles from impact (from falls, or getting stuck in rocks, etc.) I do wish they made these in a taller height (maybe 8 inches) so I can feel a sturdier ankle support-- especially during strenuous hikes. However, as a day-hike boot-- and-- for the great fit and value of these, I have to say that I'm loving them! ❤️ Columbia is my favorite brand for boots.... They still put out their great quality! ... show more

I have purchased these boots multiple times (on the third pair of black ones). They have taken me all over the world. They are perfectly designed for my narrow foot and I can walk miles with them just out of the box - without any blisters. I never get sore feet. Perhaps I have a foot suited to the boots - or maybe they are just great hiking boots. My last trip I walked more than 200 miles in the Algerian Sahara on really rough rocky terrain - I wore them every day for every mile and then bought another pair as soon as I got home. I figured they earned their retirement after that trip. They are waterproof, comfortable, nice looking (not overly tech) and with the hooks for the last two laces they are pretty easy on and off in the airport. I did trip once (at the airport ironically) when the loop of one boot hooked on the other boots top hook - so tie them twice to not have large loops - or I am clumsy. They are also really light weight - and love the suede feel of the exterior. They clean up pretty good as well with a damp cloth although the boots do get scuffed and scratched up a bit - character. They have great cushion - but not too much that they feel bulky - and great ankle support yet feel flexible. Basically they are perfect and I wear them traveling and for work (on construction job sites) in any weather and everywhere else!! I am sure I will keep buying them and I hope they keep making them. Photo is after climbing a 500 ft. tall dune - resting at the top! They didn't even have too much sand (ok they had a lot of sand) in them after that. This is my very first pair of hiking boots ever and I was looking for something high quality with a reasonable price point! These checked all of the boxes. I even wore these in the snow. They kept my feet dry and warm through the snowy cascade mountain pass of Washington state. They are also super comfortable and caused me no pain to break in. Bonus points for being super stylish. I cannot say enough good things about these boots. Just buy them!! Maybe go half a size down or wear them with thick wool socks cause they do seem to run a bit big. ... show more
