These seem to run a bit large. I take a large size and never in my life have I had a pair of shoes not be a little tighter when I wear them. I had to put an insole in these as they where big, but I am not complaining. I would rather have shoes run a little bigger than tight. These are very comfortable with the insole and warm to wear. I would buy them again just a one half size smaller.

These boots are cute and fit well... roomy enough for thick socks and custom orthotics. I don't think they give much arch support but, again, I wear custom orthotics when doing prolong/active things, so i was pleasantly surprised there was enough room for my orthotics without having to pull out the padding inside the shoes. I wear a size 6 and find them true to size. They seem water-resistant enough in the rain, but haven't tried them in snow yet. I would say they don't seem particularly warm (for many years, I had a pair of gortex Solomon hiking boots/ shoes that were almost too warm), but warm socks make the difference. They are also very light weight (compared to my Solomons and my combat boots) and pretty comfy. 4- star rating cuz they're not that warm if you wear regular socks.

These Columbia shortie boots are really comfy! I like how the length doesn't go way up the calf. We had 10 inches of snow and these boots were fabulous to wear. The traction was great in snow & ice. The length of the shorty boot was very comfortable for me, a petite woman to wear. They're easy on & off. Or like I did, laces untied & slip on & off. Again, very comfortable. I would buy these Again.

Ice maiden?? How about no. I work outdoors and in a half hour, my feet were freezing. Theres no insulation, no padding. Pissed i even bought these. Shame on columbia, they used to be a reliable company
