I could almost just step into them. Very roomy, but still felt like my feet were being cradled, if that makes sense. They are warm and soft inside. Ridiculously comfortable to walk in. I may just wear these the rest of the winter. I got them for walking my fur baby, but they're so comfy, I think I'll be wearing them to work as well. I wasn't trudging through super deep snow, but it was around 7 degrees outside, and a few inches of snow. I didn't feel it a bit. They are the perfect thickness. They also didn't slip at all on any of the ice patches. And I tested them all. Because they were sooo comfy! I walked longer than I usually do because my feet didn't hurt for once! Even though I haven't got any chance to wear it and test it out in the snow yet I'm absolutely in love with these boots. They seem to be made very well. I put them on walked around and them for a while and they seemed very comfortable never hurt my feet. I do believe that they're going to do well in the snow and a little bit of ice as they seem to have good traction on the bottom. Very easy to put on and take off. I purchased a six and a half wide as I like to have extra room in my boots for socks and I have plenty of room but not too much. I recommend these boots ... show more

I bought these so I could look fairly decent in a long skirt, while standing on snow and ice for long periods at a volunteer event. I had Sorrells but wanted to look a bit classier, lol. The foot bed insulated from the cold perfectly and they are SO comfy. Narrow enough ankle that you can pull pants over them easily, but they also look nice enough to tuck into. I waited until I put these boots to the test on a 7 day trip to the Swiss Alps. It did exactly what I wanted. It was stylish, comfortable, warm and non slip! My feet never got wet. I particularly tested it at a slippery mountain waterfall and on snowy surfaces. It was perfect. Plus I got alot of compliments!!! I highly recommend these boots! ... show more

As a first thought: looks perfect, feels perfect... I wanted to size up with half a size but accidentaly I sized up with 1 size / which was not exactly a problem in this case because wintertime I prefer to wear two socks. And with one normal and one thick sock this extra size is just perfect. Not tight at all, exactly as I wanted. Usually my size is 9.5 -10, my other columbia hiking boots are 9.5 and this one is 10.5. I'm wondering how I would feel a size 10 with two socks but honestly, I'm in love with this one so I keep it :) ... show more

I have not worn them in the cold yet. I took the out of the box. They are very nice and look very warm. I tried them on and they fit really good. I wear a size 10 and I ordered a 10.5. Other boots I've ordered have been way too tight and too snug and I ended up just giving them away. These fit perfect. I have room to wear them with warm socks. I bought them to wear in the winter and I am sure these will be perfect for what I bought them for. They look really nice as well. If I wear them in the winter and I do not like them I will update my review. But, for now I am so glad to have them. They come with great reviews and the price was good. ... show more

First snowfall today in Alaska ! These boots come in 8.5 wide perfect for cold winter nights . What I like is the wide width, slip grip and can easily wear two pair of wool socks ! Love the color and they are not flat .
