As someone who lives in a cold/snowy climate (at the base of the mountains in Utah) and who participates in a lot of outdoor winter activities, I did a lot of research before buying a pair of winter/snow boots. I'm always thrilled when I get it right on the first try without having to send anything back. These boots are worth every penny. I have come to be a major fan of Columbia outerwear in general and these boots were no exception! From the moment I put them on I knew I would love them if they kept the warmth in and the wet out- which they do! These boots are extremely comfortable! I can wear them all day and don't want to take them off! They aren't a fashion accessory but aren't ugly either which is nice. I bought them to do a job, not look darling, but I actually really like the way they look as well. They look just fine under my jeans. They fit great and are "substantial" without being super clunky and are surprisingly light. Most importantly they keep your feet warm and keep any and all moisture OUT! You could trudge around in sleet, snow, puddles, mud for hours and stay toasty and dry, and I have chronically cold feet so I would know! The tread is really substantial as I mentioned and I feel totally comfortable hiking in these in winter or just hanging Christmas lights on a ladder outside. I can't praise these boots enough! If you're look for the cutest and least boot looking waterproof boots in the world, these are not for you, but if you want a real winter work horse boot that you can actually wear under boot cut jeans to work and not look completely silly, these are a winner! I love them and they have survived 2 full winters with me and still look new! See my pictures to compare what this boot looks like next to a regular shoe. I am a true 8.5 size.

I ordered these boots for my mother - who has bigger than average feet (size 11 typically). She can never find any good winter boots in her size. I ordered these boots for myself last year, and they are awesome. I still have mine, and they still look brand new!! So when my Mom mentioned she needed boots, I suggested these to her! I ordered a size 12, and she said they fit well and are comfortable to wear!! She's VERY picky about her footwear - So that's saying something!! Take our word for it - these boots are great!! Im an 8½ and I ordered a 9 - they are true to size! They keep your feet warm and dry in rain, snow, sleet, whatever mother nature has!! I will probably order a 2nd pair just to have them on hand.

I’ve only had them for about a month and have only been in a couple inches of snow, but, they are warm! They fit perfect and feel like I’m wearing a sneaker. They are water proof, insulated, lightweight and durable. The question will be how long will they last!

I have rather large feet and these don't make my feet look really huge because of how they are cut, but yet are still very comfortable and allow me enough area to move my toes around a little but still not sliding around in the boots. They were very stiff when I first got them but after wearing them around for walks with my dogs in the snow I am finding them loosening up some and more flexible. They are also very nice and warm, and I have been quite comfortable with thin socks on and 10 degree days outside in the cold.

I ordered an 8.5 wide in black. I usually wear an 8. They are very comfortable and very roomy. I could layer socks comfortably i wanted to. Shoe laces are long allowing for adjustments. I have walked through snow but not standing water. My feet stayed warm and dry walking in 27 degrees F. for about an hour. I wear them all over the place and they have not hurt my feet. They are well made and seem durable. Arch support is not too high. Firm memory foam bottom. Easy to put on and take off hands free. Thick bottom.

Very happy with these boots. I order them over a year ago and they have held up well,, are extremely comfortable, the size runs true, and are very warm. I wear them weekly in the winter snowshoeing. They're also pretty styling. I love Columbia products and was please with the price of these boots; I think they were cheaper than they were at the local premium Columbia store. Would definitely buy them again.

I have always loved Columbia for their warmth, and these shoes are AMAZING! I ordered them in a pinch cuz I forgot my snowboots and was heading to Harbin, China for the ice festival (so, we're talking -27° f kind of cold). Not only did these fit PERFECTLY (I was in between sizes and sized up), they kept me toasty warm and perfectly dry!! And the best part?? They have AMAZING traction on ice! Oh, they're also super cute, but let's be honest when it's THAT cold, cute is the last thing on most people's mind lol

These are by far the best winter boots I have ever had. They are so soft and cushy with support in the arch area. I wore them in comfort on the very first day. These boots really keep my feet and legs nice and warm. These boots are high quality, very cute, not clunky at all. I highly recommend purchasing these boots and they are worth the money.
