I am still trying these out so have only worn them inside, but so far I really like them. I have moderately wide feet, and the 9W feels great. The sole seems firm enough for various surfaces, including moderately rough ones. I see no immediate issues with support. I have been wearing pretty pricey shoes with great support but oddly wide soles (if you wear that brand, you probably know what I’m talking about). The Columbias actually fit my foot, which is terrific. They’re also perfectly fine looking. If these perform as well outside, I may get another pair. First off, I am not a fan of mesh, but finding sneakers without it is becoming nearly impossible. I walk a lot, usually 4-10 miles a day. Sneakers generally last 300-500 miles, so it is a frequent purchase. Unfortunately sneaker quality has been on the decline, just like everything else. These are quality, they fit well and feel comfortable, there was no break in period. After 3 days I bought another pair, they are in the closet for when I need them. My old athletic shoes were Columbia, so I thought I would go with that brand again since I was ordering online. My old ones were size 9, but I went with 8 1/2 wide since I wanted to use orthotics in them. They are comfortable and the color is great.

I bought a pair of Columbia waterproof hiking shoes for an Alaskan Cruise. They were so comfortable, I could wear them all day. Therefore, I thought I would try the walking shoes for everyday exercising. They, too, fit perfectly and are so comfortable. Would recomend for sure.

The sole started peeling off after 3 wears. The inside of the shoe also rubbed my foot at an awkward seam near the toe. I've owned many Columbia brand shoes, and these are the first pair I've ever returned.

Very comfortable to wear. No need to break in for me. It's a good fit and true to size. Quality is good so hopefully it's also durable. Color is easy to be paired with any fashion.
