This has to be the most well constructed heavy duty cooler I have ever seen. It is SUPER insulated in the walls, bottom, and top. It is also pretty heavy even when empty, which isn't a plus, but hey, if it keeps ice and the contents cold for days as it is supposed to, I will be thrilled. I haven't used it in a real life situation yet but I did take a bag of ice and put it and closed the lid and every day for the next 5 days I opened it up twice a day to check on it and even after 5 days there was still ice in the bag. I thought the size was over kill but when opening up the cooler, I could see the space was not as big as it seemed because of all the side wall insulation. I wish it had wheels to be able to pull it around when it was full, but I knew that when ordering it. I am just glad I found a cooler that will actually keep your food cold and keep ice for 5 days and not have to keep buying ice every day. It does have a screw in plug to be able to drain the water out to keep it from possibly getting your food soaked from the melted ice. From such an expensive cooler - I know it's not the highest priced one on the market but it's still quite a lot of money. And it seriously has flaws. Terrible handles (rope? who thought that was a good idea) and it really doesnt keep things cold for as long as it should. Days? No.

This is a great looking cooler, if it functioned properly. The spout/drain that you twist to drain your cooler leaks even when it’s supposed to be closed. I really liked this cooler so I even gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought it was a fluke. Returned and ordered another. Same exact issue but worse, I tested it by just pouring a cup of water in it with the spout fully “closed” and tightened. It flows right out as if it is open. It’s also really heavy to carry and was supposed to come with a dry basket and I didn’t receive one with mine either time I ordered. Definitely someone who just bought defected coolers from the Columbia warehouse to sell. ... show more

This is easily the best cooler I have ever owned. Took it camping and it helps use for 2 days with now problem. 19 inch ruler on top for measuring fish. bottle opener included with a storage slot. The straps to secure the lid are my favorite part. They are easy to open and close with one hand without sacrificing any functionality. the handle is great and has a slot that keeps it in the up right position but easily moves out of the way. the drain plug screws in and out with a nice seal but there is no lanyard which surprised me. Three weekend trips and only one mediocre result. I've only used it for drinks which were already cold and then had ice added. First trip ice was gone by the morning of the second day. Second trip lasted almost a day longer. Third trip another one day experience. Trip 2 did afford me the ability to keep the cooler in more shade than the other trips but in the real world that's not always possible. My hope was to at least come home with some ice left after almost three days and that didn't happen. I'll move on to another brand ... show more

This cooler is very good, it is not too heavy and is of a good size, but I wished I had been offered the 50q one instead of the 25q one, just because I felt that the size of this cooler was just a little bit small. The cooler is of good quality and looks nice. This cooler keeps ice for up to 5 days (I haven't tested this yet, though).
