This is a great looking cooler, if it functioned properly. The spout/drain that you twist to drain your cooler leaks even when it’s supposed to be closed. I really liked this cooler so I even gave it the benefit of the doubt and thought it was a fluke. Returned and ordered another. Same exact issue but worse, I tested it by just pouring a cup of water in it with the spout fully “closed” and tightened. It flows right out as if it is open. It’s also really heavy to carry and was supposed to come with a dry basket and I didn’t receive one with mine either time I ordered. This is a really nice cooler, and compared to other more expensive coolers, works just as good without the super high price. Lots of accessories, handles (more on that later), bottle opener that fits into one of the sides, wire basket, fish measurer (just molded into lid top), microban anti-microbial in the plastic. For coldness -- we only have used this over a weekend, and it worked just as expected, kept everything nice and cold --- but haven't tried it for the 9+ days it says it can do (you will need to precool it to get that since there is a lot of thermal mass inside). It's a bit bulky (like all heavily insulated roto molded coolers), has nice rubber footpads, and quite durable. I know most coolers don't use handles, so this is a ding at something most don't include -- but they are just the wrong length for using it by yourself. When you lift it up it pulls the cooler directly into your hands, and really hurts -- terrible design. It looks like it may be possible to retie the handles a bit shorter since they are just knots, but haven't done that. ... show more

This has to be the most well constructed heavy duty cooler I have ever seen. It is SUPER insulated in the walls, bottom, and top. It is also pretty heavy even when empty, which isn't a plus, but hey, if it keeps ice and the contents cold for days as it is supposed to, I will be thrilled. I haven't used it in a real life situation yet but I did take a bag of ice and put it and closed the lid and every day for the next 5 days I opened it up twice a day to check on it and even after 5 days there was still ice in the bag. I thought the size was over kill but when opening up the cooler, I could see the space was not as big as it seemed because of all the side wall insulation. I wish it had wheels to be able to pull it around when it was full, but I knew that when ordering it. I am just glad I found a cooler that will actually keep your food cold and keep ice for 5 days and not have to keep buying ice every day. It does have a screw in plug to be able to drain the water out to keep it from possibly getting your food soaked from the melted ice. I am very happy with this cooler and can't wait to use it camping. ... show more
