Order one size down. I am a solid XL and L in this shirt is the right size. Sleeves are a little long but fine. Lightweight and comfortable for day at beach. Good stuff. Would recommend.

I ordered my typical size shirt, which is Large. I have other long sleeve shirts like this from other manufacturers and they are all large and all fit me well. However, this large was HUGE! Sleeves came down to my knuckles and it's really baggy. I had also ordered a Large from another company and it was huge also. Not sure why these sizes are so much larger than other manufacturers, but once I got my replacement in a medium, I love it. It's the only shirt I have that is a medium, so it definitely seems to be an issue with the Columbia sizing. A more uniform sizing would hep to prevent customer frustration with returns. ... show more

I would get a size down. I guess that could be flattering! It's extremely comfortable and my insanely sensitive-to-the-sun skin didn't burn. I still used some sunscreen under it just in case. Very light and comfortable even on a 90+ degree valley day. They wash well, cold water and no softener. Definitely going to get more! ... show more

This shirt is very nice, i didn't get burned while on a catamaran in Jamaica while wearing this shirt. I did buy a large first, which every single shirt i wear is a large. It ended up being very baggy and the sleeves are very long so i exchanged for a medium which fit perfect. I was not hot at all wearing this in the jamaican sun! ... show more

YES they run large. Go down a size. I am 6'2", 208 lbs and normally wear a L/XL depending on material and fit. I have a Medium on this and it fits great. I have used to fish on extremely hot sunny days , it works very well. They are pricey but after wearing it a few times , I love it and will be ordering more. ... show more

I am 6'0" and a buck ninety (which is a large every time) but a medium was exactly right. Great shirt by the way. Sleeves a tad on the long side. Very soft. Breathes well.
