I’ve been using these Columbia hiking shoes for several weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The build quality is top-notch – the materials feel durable, yet the shoes remain lightweight and comfortable for long hikes. One of the biggest challenges for me is that my foot tends to roll inward, but these shoes hold my foot perfectly in place and provide excellent stability, which makes a huge difference on uneven terrain. The traction is outstanding: I’ve walked on rocky trails, muddy paths, and even steep inclines, and I always feel secure. The soles grip well without feeling stiff, allowing natural movement while keeping me steady. Another thing I appreciate is the cushioning – even after hours of hiking, my feet don’t feel fatigued. Caught these on sale and needed a shoe that could get wet and last longer hiking in wet after spring rains here in Georgia. A little stiff at first, the liner was not up to what I need so I threw in one with a higher arch support and the combo is breaking in nicely. I needed something water resistant when walking my dog through wet grass. Hated coming back having to change into dry socks! That said these meet my needs and fit my very wide foot. There reasonably attractive, keep my feet dry and don't break the bank. Word of caution, any footwear that keeps your feet dry from the elements do not breathe. These seem well made and for the price I got them I would recommend. The only cautions I would add is they do seem to run a little large. But not just like a typical shoe where the length seems to be large at the front or back of the shoe. They seem to be large all around. The other thing off a little is they don't have a ton of arch support. I may pick up some inserts that could help solve both issue. ... show more
