I’ve been using these Columbia hiking shoes for several weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The build quality is top-notch – the materials feel durable, yet the shoes remain lightweight and comfortable for long hikes. One of the biggest challenges for me is that my foot tends to roll inward, but these shoes hold my foot perfectly in place and provide excellent stability, which makes a huge difference on uneven terrain. The traction is outstanding: I’ve walked on rocky trails, muddy paths, and even steep inclines, and I always feel secure. The soles grip well without feeling stiff, allowing natural movement while keeping me steady. Another thing I appreciate is the cushioning – even after hours of hiking, my feet don’t feel fatigued. Overall, these shoes combine durability, comfort, and exceptional support. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves hiking or spends a lot of time outdoors, especially if you need extra foot support. Columbia really nailed it with this pair!

3rd pair in about 5 yrs. In my experience they stay waterproof for about a year, after that high wear spots (like the crease at the pinky toe) begine to break down. They will stay looking good enough for casual wear for about another 6mo or so before I start thinking, "boy, you need some nicer shoes", and will remain functional and comfortable long after that. I wear these ever day for miles long walks and hikes, in the snow, out to eat, playing golf, you name it. They are warm, not too hot, fit well for my wide feet and are extremely comfortable. They are the only shoes I've ever used where I thought, "wow, even the tops of my toes are comfy."

I was surprised and not surprised. I love the brand all around, but these shoes are great true to fit overall. The insole could be better, but one i replaced it with one I owned they fit like a glove. My insole made the fit a little snug, like I said, a glove. Traction is great on dirt, concrete, asphalt and tile. I like the look and color.

Bought these before my trip to Alaska. Needed a new pair. This is now my 3 pair of Columbia trail shoes. I wear these until they wear out. I still have my second pair, 3 years old now. Just wanted a new pair for my trip. They are comfortable to be in all day. No issues walking on the different terrain I encountered. Will continue to buy these for use every day and light trail hikes. Fit: They fit great. Shoe quality: Last me a long time. First pair lasted me almost 5 years. Note: not heavy trail use but wore them a lot for daily use. Value for money: For me, the longevity I get out of them is worth the value.

Very comfortable and sturdy. Just returned from a trip to the Azores and Portugal where these shoes were 100% comfortable as we climbed lots of stairs and steep streets. I have a 13 double wide foot so this size hard to come by. Great shoes.

Love them so far. Lightweight, great fit, good traction and support. They appear to be of good quality. I haven’t had a chance to try them out in the rain to test the waterproof feature. I’m currently breaking them in for an upcoming trip to Alaska where they will be used for a planned hiking trip in the mountains. The AI recommended a regular size 9 for my size and that was correct.
