These are great pants and have replaced jeans as my go-to pants. They’re lightweight and roomy, very comfortable, and well made. They have elastic in the waist on the left and right, giving them a nice fit. They have 2 roomy side pockets, two rear pockets with velcro flap closures, a pocket in the right leg with a velcro flap closure, and a pocket on the left leg with a zip. These pants are lightweight, so if you live in a colder climate you’ll need a layer underneath them at times. I am a size 36 waist and the 36 pants fit me perfectly. Other reviewers have noted they measure a little longer than the stated size. I have 3 pairs in a 30” length and they all measure 31”. The pants come with a fabric belt but frankly I find it more decorative than functional. With the elastic in the waist I don’t find a belt all that necessary. I have 3 pairs: Gravel is a dark green-grey color, Tusk is a mid-range khaki color, and Fossil is a light khaki. These pants are very easy to care for. They wash and dry quickly and don’t retain creases. In fact, you can hang-dry these in a few hours.

Got them to wear for a trip to Hawaii. These and the cargo-pants shorts version both worked GREAT. The light weight was perfect for the warmer days and cooler evenings in Kona. And with either, if they got wet - which they did - they dried out fast. The fit was also good for my middle-age spread body type - not ultra form fitting - which is a good thing. And they looked good enough I could wear them absolutely anywhere, from the fanciest restaurant on Waikiki to wandering through a Tropical paradise on the big island. So, big thumbs up for both. I purchased these because I was in need of a cheap super thin lightweight work pant for the hot and super humid summer months of Maryland. They were about $24 at the time of purchase. I dont think I would buy if they wear any higher cost. They work well. These are super light and way cooler than other materials. These are almost like a breathable windbreaker. They are quite comfortable as I dont ever sense any discomfort ever when wearing. I am also surprised at the durability. I work hard and tough commercial projects and I dont take it easy on any of my clothes. These have held up well for a couple months now, with extreme use. No rips, tears or anything. Just minimal staining. The fit is loose and baggy which I dont like but I am not wearing these for looks. I actually would not wear these any where except when I expect to mess them up. They just not my preferred fit. I would definitely buy again if they are priced under $30.00

I normally wear 34x31 in jeans. I bought several of the Pilsner Peak, the Silver Ridge, and Blood and Guts pants for comparison. Pilsner Peak pants: Fits a bit slim. Especially at the waist. Probably closer to 33 inches than 34. It rides a bit lower on the hip than the Silver Ridge and therefor a bit snug in the crotch. The length are the same. The Pilsner Peak are closer in style to a typical dress pants. Just one extra slot for pen or knife. The rear pocket is not flapped. The fit at the thigh is good for me. I have medium/thin thighs and it's not snug, but just right. If you have large thighs, you'll find these might be too slim. The leg then drops stragith. Material is woven, feels very nice. It's light material. I like it more than the nylon feeling of the Silver Ridge pants. Silver Ridge pants: the fit is very similar toe the Pilsner fit in that it's a bit slim. There's more pockets at the thight and the rear pockets are flapped. There is an elastic waist. It does come with a pretty cheap but functional 1 inch nylon belt. It rides just a bit higher on the hips than the Pilsner and the fit makes your butt look better. The material is more of a typical nylon feel. Not as comfy as the Pilsner but is still very comfrotable overall. Blood and guss: much looser fit from the hip down. If you want lots of flexibility in movement, this is your pants. The waist is a bit slim like the other two pants. There is minimal elasticity. The material is the thickest of the 3. Doesn't mean it's thick, just a bit thicker of the 3. Still a summer pants. Because the fit is loose on my thighs and lower legs, these are my least favorite of the 3 pants.

As other people noted, the waist size is a bit smaller than normal, I normally wear 31-32" waist, I ordered these pants in 34" waist and they fit perfectly. I LOVE these pants...I'd give them higher than 5/5 if I could. As long as you read some of the reviews before hand and order the correct size, they feel great. I wore these pants while on a camping trip on the coast, the weather was drizzling and raining most of the time. The temperature alternated between cool and warm depending on the elevation and how close to the ocean we were. They felt great to wear while hiking, not just walking, climbing over logs and rocks, sliding down a steep cliffside, no problem!. These pants literally made the difference between a miserable trip and a great trip. They got soaked, rained on, and muddy. A few minutes later, probably 15 minutes, definitely less than 30 minutes - they were bone dry again. Mud, dirt, and grime came right off afterwards - no smudges or stains. I'd definitely buy them again or recommend to other people.

I wanted lightweight pants for travel. And these are perfect. Super light, very sturdy, and very very comfortable. I actually bought three more pair after trying them. They dry very quickly, pockets are deep, and they are perfect for traveling around the world out of a backpack. (Or luggage, if you are one of them. LOL) They look nice for semi-nice nights. And are cool even on the hottest days. These are my go-to pants from now on.
