Great to wear as a work boot cuz it come in extra wide option if you like me you know how hard it is to find extra wide shoes or boots. The price is great the shoe fit perfect and comfortable right out the box with extra room the shoelaces are great and durable which I was surprised cuz I had other boots in the same price range that normally would use cheap laces but these actually use good quality shoelaces that hold up to a 12-hour 5-day a week warehouse job. Been wearing them ever since I got them for work and outside as a casual shoe. If your job request work boots these shoes are good alternative cuz they kind of look like they could be considered work boots. I will definitely recommend these and will be buying them again when I need another pair

So far I really like these boots/shoes, they fit me great, look great, and were a good price. But honestly let me wear them out and see how long they last and how comfortable they stay and then I can do a proper review. I have bought a different brand boot/shoe from my local farm store (I think these are a cowboy brand) for the last 6-7 years and I liked them so much that I always went back and just bought the same shoe when they wore out, but- they weren't waterproof, they wore out in about a year of use, and they were more expensive then these boots/shoes I just bought. So if these Columbia's can do better than the ones I bought from the farm store then Columbia will have a new returning customer in me- but hopefully not too often, I want these babies to last.

I spent 4 days hiking more than 30 miles in the Sangre De Cristo mountains in Colorado. I wore Columbia Men's Newton Ridge Plus Ii Waterproof Hiking Shoe every day I hiked. I walked a few miles at home to break the shoes in before heading to the mountains, but honestly, they didn't need to be broken in. The shoes were comfortable the entire time, and other than some rubbing against the outside of my big toe, I didn't have any blisters. There were several water crossings and I decided to walk thru the water rather than around to test if they were indeed waterproof. Thankfully, my feet never got wet. There are several options for this particular brand and the prices seems to be fluctuate a great deal (I paid half of what they are now going for on the site). If you watch the prices, you will end up with a VERY competitively priced, well-made hiking boot that will last for years to come.

i love these boots. over the years of being on my feet all day i developed flat feet which require a wide boot. i've tried other wide boots with an arch and it did nothing but hurt my feet. i have a hard time finding a shoe or boot that fits properly but right out of the box i could where these boots all day with no pain. looking at the price i thought i was going to get a crappy pair of boots but i am very happy with these. so if you dont want to spend a lot of money and you have fat flat feet you should give these a try. i do not see these wearing out quickly as i like the quality. and if they do i will buy these again.

I put a couple dozen miles on these so far hiking some west coast trails on rock, gravel, dirt and volcanic sand and have been pleased. Temperatures ranged from the 50s to the 90s and I was always comfortable. Traction is good even when descending loose slopes. They are comfortable enough to wear on an all-day travel day so that you don't have to cram your boots into your luggage. Considering the $60 price I paid for them, I am quite happy with them. Fit was as expected, I purchased them in the same size as my typical shoes.

Look good and feel okay. After reading other reviews, I ordered a half-size up from my usual boot and shoe size, and I'm glad I did (I'm a guy, 10.5m from 10m). They are still quite snug with a regular sock but acceptable. As others have pointed out, they seem a bit narrower than one might expect and not roomy in the toe box. I notice that the description for this MEN'S boot says designed for the "female hiking enthusiast," so that might explain the slight narrowness. Just got them, so I'll revisit this review after some trail time.

These Columbia boots are great right out of the box. I’m a welder fabricator and am rough on my footwear. I’ve had Red Wings, Merril, Cat and Carhartt. I’ve been wearing this exact boot for about a decade. I typically get about 12 months of life per pair. The only thing I need is a rigid insert for plantar fasciitis. I just got a pair on prime day for 55$ delivered. This is a good all leather boot for a really good price.

I'm a farmer, I deal with all sorts of materials and liquids. I ride quads and shift with my toe. These boots have been hiking to the ocean and been an everyday work boot since 2019... solid as they come, even now the areas that cracked are from me squatting in them before they were fully broken in. I never oiled them or cared for them. These boots rock! For the price you are getting something exceptional.
