These boots fit great and are comfortable. They would work great as light hiking boots, although, I still prefer something more substantial as I think these would cause stone bruises on rocky trails. But they are great boots and for the right purpose they would be fantastic. My problem is I wanted to see if I could use them as work boots. The uppers have held up well but the soles..... that's another story. I am on concrete and asphalt and gravel all day long and they are comfortable for that. BUT, tomorrow I will have had these 2 months and the soles are almost worn smooth. In some places it looks like climbing in and out of truck steps have actually ripped off some of the traction nubs. I wasn't sure how these would do for my purposes but now I know. I already have enough light hikers so no point in replacing these. Gonna have to go back to heavy work boots, but, I enjoyed these while they lasted. At least they were cheap, but for only 2 months worth? Maybe not that cheap after all. ... show more

Normally wear 10 1/2 wide. Ordered 11 Wide to be safe. Right boot fine. Left boot a bit snug around the base of the big toe. Leather so put a wrench in that boot and stretched it out to the side a bit. Just wore them all day walking outside and later inside until evening. Forgot they were on they were so comfortable. Even rode motorcycle with them on. Soles a bit aggressive for footpegs and shifting but they sure worked. Do not use the top fast tie clips so no clue if they are prone to coming out. Actually only tie up loosely so not putting pressure on any of those fast tie clips. ... show more

I have put these boots through hell. Hiking up steep trails, through mud, you get the gist. They have stood up against all of it! The boots are crazy comfortable. I would highly recommend them, and for the price, they are great!

I was very impressed with these boots until I put them on. There wasn't any padding in the sole at all. The inside sole portion was hard and uncomfortable. I put in some foam insoles along with my planter faciitis supports and they felt great. I broke them in for about four hours then took them to Alaska for vacation and a fly fishing trip and wore them every day. I'd recommend them but be sure to have s I me insoles to put in them before you wear them. ... show more

They fit and are very supportive and comfortable. I broke my 5th metatarsal (avulsion fracture) and wore a Ortho boot for this fracture for way too many weeks. My doc insisted I get a high, supportive and stiff boot to keep from turning inward again on my hikes over rocky terrain. I have had many boots of this type and these are the best for under $110 bucks I think. They would be good for hiking, camping, climbing most of the fourteen thousand high mountains in Colorado. I do not think I would use them for technical rock climbing. I will definitely buy these again at this point in their lifespan. If they are still going strong a year from now, I will be impressed. I purchased a size 13 D and they fit great. (my foot size is probably 12.5 D (USA sizing). I got the gray because they were $30 less expensive than the "cool colors". They are boots, will get dirty and destroyed. Love these boots. ... show more

Bought this shoe to go hiking in the mountains. They didn't really require any breaking in and were comfortable from the start. They fit as expected. They are indeed water proof and did great in the shallows of the rivers. (Water proof up to the top of the shoe only of course - the shoe is not meant to be submerged) The shoe was comfortable for a variety of hikes of different lengths. Tried them for hikes of 1 mile to 8 miles and didn't come across any issues. Overall, I would recommend. ... show more
