🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The overall reviews for these boots are highly positive, clients expressing they are comfortable, tough, lightweight, and exceptionally waterproof. They are fit for both heavy work and more relaxed outdoor activities. However, concerning the cold weather, some users find them not adequate as they don't keep the feet warm.

Pros

  • 😀 Extremely comfortable
  • 🥾 Durable and rugged
  • 🪶 Lightweight
  • 💦 Highly waterproof
  • 😊 Suitable for people with wide feet

Cons

  • ❄️ Not keeping feet warm during winter

Should I Buy It?

Bearing in mind the excellent performance in a variety of terrains and its outstanding waterproof quality, it's definitely worth the investment, especially for those who hike or work outdoors regularly. However, keep in mind that they do not provide warmth during extensive cold, so if your winters are harsh, consider alternative options or plan on wearing extra socks.

  • It was everything I hoped for
Size: 12 Color: Elk, Mountain Red
I go though boots like nobody's business. I've tried expensive ones. I've tried cheap ones. I've tried middle of the road ones. These I will buy again. They hit the sweet spot, between comfort and price. No boot will last forever, so spending $300 every 6 months is a little crazy, and if you go the other way and go with $20 boots, ha, good luck! You may spend less, but your feet are gonna hurt, your gonna be slipping everywhere, and getting wet, and having to buy a new pair every 2 months. These boots are holding up well, no catastrophic failures, just normal wear on the bottoms. You'll be spending significantly less than the pricy boots, nearly just as comfortable, and they will last you just as long. My only complaint was that there was a spot on the top of the toe box where the suede was messed up. I could have probably returned them and got another pair sent to me, but I don't wear them to be pretty, I wear them to get work done, and for that, they are fantastic. Especially compared to the boots I bought right before these on Amazon. If you're considering these boots, stop wasting your time, and hit buy now. You could spend all day weighing the pros and cons, reading a million reviews, saying eenie meenie miny mo, but just get them, and be done with it. They fit well They are comfortable They look good They keep your feet dry They hold up well Keep in mind, that I do not generally go through extremely rugged terrain with these, but they give every indication that they would be up to the challenge. What I do know is that I can walk 15 miles and not end up with painful, soggy, blistery feet. ... show more

  • Great light Weight shoes! Very comfortable. My fiance loves them.
Size: 11.5 Color: Elk, Mountain Red
These are excellent quality boots. They were comfortable right out of the box. He wears them every day. They wear well. No noticeable scuffs or scrapes on the leather. They are waterproof and have omni-grip for hiking. All terrain boots for many purposes! They run true to size. Very lightweight and versatile. The price was excellent! Don't hesitate they are definitely worth it! ... show more

  • Surprisingly light
So up front I am used to wearing military boots so I base my review that way, these boots were light and comfortable made of pretty durable material and the sole was both resistant to chemicals and taller than I thought it would be. I enjoy the color which like stated is close to that of a shark. The laces are round and shorter that I would have thought. if you normally wrap your laces around the shoe these are not long enough. Overall these are great for the price and I would buy them again. ... show more

  • Great boot for construction or hiking
Size: 11 Color: Elk, Mountain Red
I work in construction, boots do not last me very long in my line of work. A handful of months at best. Most boots are also very heavy for their lack of durability. I have to give these boots credit. They’re very size accurate. Great traction in mud. Very comfortable and lite which matters a lot if you’re on your feet carrying a lot of weight all day. And they support your ankles and keep you from twisting them on rough loose terrain unlike those junkie slip on boots “country boys” love if I can wear the tread out on the bottom before the glue starts pulling apart. I’ll edit my review and give it five stars. ... show more

  • Light and comfortable
Size: 15 Color: Elk, Mountain Red
Recently wore my old pair of Merrill boots in the Nevada high desert but had to call it quits after ~4 hours. My aging feet could no longer cope with the size 13 boots. Nice blister and almost lost a toenail. Not the fault of the Merrill boots; it's just that feet can grow as one ages, just like one's waistline. :-) Ordered these Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II boots in size 15 and they fit perfectly. They are a little lighter that I was expecting for a size 15 and very comfortable, requiring no break-in really. Seem to visually be well made and should last for many years with my light / medium hiking activities. Recommended. ... show more

  • Used for landscaping
Size: 16 Color: Elk, Mountain Red
Bought these as a lighter weight and more comfortable alternative to steel toed boots for landscaping and tree trimming. After several months I’ll say they aren’t the best landscaping boots but for what I’ve put them through I’m impressed with how they have held up. No quality issues after 6 months. I wear the brown suede boots for landscaping and bought a pair of the gray vinyl boots for fashion. Probably should have done it the other way around, but anyhow I like the boots and will probably get another pair if I see them on sale again. ... show more

  • Quality and value
Size: 10 Color: Shark, Black
I had been buying the comparably priced Timberland hiking boots for years. But I’ve realized that the Columbia boots are just made better and last much longer. The comfort level is as good or better than the Timberlands I was buying.
