It's finally winter here in Mn and these boots are outstanding. In size 14 they weigh in just under 4 lbs for the pair. That's important to me as my hips will not tolerate a heavy boot. They are warm and very comfortable in today's hike at -14 and traction was good in 6 inches of fresh snow. It's hard to find a good boot that is lightweight and impresses me. I read reviews saying this boot runs small. I wear a size 13 normally but decided to get a size 14. Glad I listened and got 1 size larger. Going up 1 size makes this an amazing boot. The warmth, fit and style gets 5 stars in my opinion. Everyone's feet are different. My feet are wide and going up 1 size made a positive difference with this boot. If you have wide feet, I would suggest going 1 size up. Especially in winter with thicker socks. You won't regret it! One caveat, the boot does makes a rubber like sound when I walk. These boots fit exactly as expected, look amazing, & came just in time for the current snow storm in Chicago. They are so incredibly comfortable; I was a little skeptical of the claim that they can be worn all day...not anymore! They are light, so easy to move around in, and don’t have that “clunky snow boot” feel. They keep the feet nice and warm without getting all sweaty. I can definitely tell that I will be able to wear them in other seasons as rain boots. I am so pleased with every aspect of these boots! Would 100% recommend! ... show more

    • Amazing, lightweight yet warm and waterproof boot
I stumbled across this boot in my search for a high-end snow boot for a ski trip to Park City, UT. After researching several $200 boots for features and comfort reviews, this Columbia came in my algorithm. Man, and I glad!! I was lucky enough to get the color (Tan and maroon) that was on sale. This boot lived up to all of my expectations, plus! To call this a "boot" is almost disrespectful, Its more like a VERY high-top basketball show. That's the level of comfort I had in this shoe after two FULL days of being in snow/tubes/snowmobiles and motorcycles. The temperatures were not frigidly cold, so I cant attest to the warming space-like interior. But, I can say that this shoe kept my feet dry after stepping in snow, puddles and mud. Plus, I cant understate how good this boot looks. Again, I got the Tan with the burgundy laces, which actually is a nice combo. Not that you couldn't trust a Columbia brand product, but these boots are LEGIT. My only complaint is that my pair came with a strong smell of petroleum/plastic. Not sure if this is common, but it was distinctive with my pair. The smell has somewhat lessened, but it is there if you get close enough and take a sniff ... show more

Normally a big style guy, but wanted to make sure I got something to avoid ruining some of my more fashion-oriented boots this winter and got these to serve that purpose. Global Warming is real, so we have yet to get hit with a big snow storm in the Northeast region of Massachusetts, but we've had a few chilly days and the warmth/ insulation of these boots is utterly impressive when combined with the fact that they are so light-weight. I've had Sorel's and while they are very warm, they are clunky and more burdensome to wear (especially for us big lads with big feet). Long story short, these are sharp; they serve their purpose well while also having a touch of style and sleekness from the trim fit to the tan/brown and blue color combo. Fit true to size. These Boots are extremely comfortable and lightweight. I don't use these for recreation. I do snow removal so I drive a plow and shovel and I can be out for hours on end. My feet stay completely dry and they are warm but not warm enough to where they start sweating and then get cold.

Really enjoyed these boots! I’m super picky about the boots I wear , these are great. Out of the box ( no break in) I wore the to Disneyland 6 miles a day, they were good. Went on to play in the snow , totally waterproof and warm just right! Great boots. Thank you

Wore it to Alaska which was negative 30F, but it kept my foot warm, and also walked in snow for 5 days, inside kept dry and comfort. would like to recommend it
